Question about Poulan Garden
I've had this leaf blower for 4 years and have not had any problems. 3 weeks ago it would not start, so I replaced the spark plug, cleaned the air filter and it ran with no problems. 2 weeks ago, I while in use, the motor started to stall out, I played with the gas and it ran ok for a minute or two before starting to stall again. I looked down and notice the muffler was cherry red (hot). After it cooled down I took the muffler off to see if it was clogged, but it looks ok. I've been using the same gas mixture since I bought it. Any suggestions?
You may need to turn the Hi screw on the carb in 1/4 of a turn. Make sure the gas and mix are fresh.

I think that those are suppose to be caps over the screw to discourage inadvertant tinkering with it. That way it is a deliberate act to get to them, if it is what I think it is.

Many of these small blowers have an alloy key moulded into the flywheel, if this has sheared it will knock the ignition timing out, and will never run.
