Question about Olympia Compact S & User Manual Typewriter W/ Warranty
Pulled this typewriter out of storage and turned it on. Powers on and lights light up... it worked for a millisecond, but then the carriage stopped moving and the keys don't respond when pushed. Anyway I can fix this?

Turn it off and see if the carrier will move back and forth by hand if it will but feels a little gummy spray a little WD40 on the silver shafts that it slides on. If it won't move by hand look for debris in the carrier area.
