SOURCE: Husqvarna looses power after 10-15 min.

Hello Matt:

From your Description it Sounds like Either the Gas Cap is Not Venting the Tank, the Exhaust Port/Muffler is Restricted or the Rings are Worn Out and Require Replacing.
Make Sure the Gas Cap Allows Air into the Tank.
If the Gas Cap is Good, then
>>The Following is a Basic Instruction File for Doing a Diagnostic on the Engine for this Problem. Any Input is Appreciated.
>>**Remove the Muffler and Make Sure the Exhaust Port is Clear.
>>If it is, then Try to Start the engine with the Muffler Off.
>>If it Starts and Runs Properly, then Clean the Spark Arrestor Screen in the Muffler or Replace the Muffler if Required.
If the Exhaust Port and Muffler are Clear, then Most likely the Rings are Worn and Require Replacing.
Please, Do Not Hesitate, If you Hit a Snag or this Does Not Correct the Problem, I am Here if You Require More Assistance.
Hope this Helps. Let me Know What Happens, Please. May the All Mighty Bless You and Yours. Be Safe and Be Happy. Thanks.

SOURCE: Husqvarna 324LDx 4 cycle string trimmer. Have

Probably needs a carb kit, check main jet and main fuel inlet jet, is the spark crisp, fat and powerful, try running it with a borrowed coil as this may have an intermittent fault. Is fuel cap breather working or blocked, these small carbs are very sensitive. Make sure all is well with gaskets and diagrahms. Good luck the Yeti

SOURCE: 323L Husqvarna trimmer

This sounds like the carb needs to be adjusted like it is letting to much fuel into the cylinder. There is supposed to be fuel and air mixture in the cylinder to make it fire. If there is to much fuel what will happen is that it will just build up in there and the air wont get hot enough as it compresses to start the engine.

SOURCE: st185 Homelite string trimmer starts then dies

I resolved my problem by taking apart the carborator and cleaning it. There were clogged passaged that had stuff come out of them when I used airisol carb cleaner to blow them out. I only had to make one gasket the carb mount gasket which is pretty basic only 5 holes.
It ran for the next 3 hours, ran fantastic!!!!!!

Cant start my Husqvarna ld trimmer. I just finished using it. let it sit for 10 min and tried to restart, it started once but then stalled and I cant restart it.

It may have suffered some internal damage, remove the muffler and check the condition of the piston face through the open port any sign os scuffing and it will require stripping and investigating.

Husqvarna 2-cycle trimmer starts fine, idles fine, but won't run with the throttle open. it will rev up but any kind of load will just about kill it.

May need to have the unit checked. Could be something as simple as a clogged muffler, air filter, fuel filter or engine wear or damage.

Husqvarna weed eater starts , but blows alot of smoke & then stalls out

Rod, Carb. may need adjusted, try loosening gas cap and start to see if cap vent plugged, there is a in tank fuel filter that you could fish out and remove to see if it is plugged. If still not running remove muffler and clean spark arrester screen, if screen plugged the trimmer will do this.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

Starts and runs good for 5 maybe 10 min. then it dies and won't start and run right

Remove the fuel cap to see if the saw will run longer--if so, the fuel vent would appear to be plugged. If no help, then check the fuel filter, air cleaner, and muffler for plugging. Check the fuel lines for decay or other damage. Hope some of this helps!

Husqvarna 125L quit running, it runs then shuts off

You likely need to replace the muffler, this is a common problem and if the engine can't get rid of the exhaust it also will not take in more fuel, happens a lot with anything with a spark arrester in the muffler.

Husqvarna 323L gas trimmer runs & starts great but looses power after 10-15 min and if you give it gas it dies. let it cool and it runs great for another 10-15min. trimm has less than 5 hours

You have a clogged gas cap. Try this: The next time you run your trimmer and it starts to die, loosen the gas cap. It should start running again. It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it?! Well, give it try. Clear the breathing holes form debris, or buy a new gas cap.

I have a 125l trimmer and it runs for about 10 minutes and then it dies. it will restart, but will not run at trimming speed.

I had the same problem. Check the fuel line right above the grommet on the tank. Mine dry rotted and had a small hole in it sucking air. The trimmer would start ok but wouldn't run long or at all wide open. Replace the fuel line and grommet (all one piece). This fixed my problem.
