Traci Pogue,
I would be happy to provide additional assistance on that. Unfortunately the only codes I am able to locate for that equipment are 761, and 780. This link http://www.mydish.com/support/apps/remotecodes.aspx may have additional codes you can look up or try.
If none of the codes work, and you have a 20/21.0 remote, you can utilize the learning feature to teach the remote the buttons. You can find full instructions at http://www.mydish.com/support/teach-learning-remote-20-21 . If you still need any assistance after that, let me know here. I would be happy to see what else can be done.

SOURCE: error code 04ee on Dish

Hello this is luke. I do not know of any 04 ee error code on dish network. The closest will be 004. Try to check if it is coming from the receiver or from the tv by unplugging the receiver from wall outlet while tv is on. If the code stays, then it is from the tv, if it goes away with the lights on receiver, it is from the receiver. Let me know.

SOURCE: I have a ILO-26 LCD tv and no code for my Dish Network remote

Phillip with DISH Network's Technical Support Team here, happy to help! I hope you have found the codes that will allow you to control your ILO-26 LCD TV using our 5.3 remote, but in the event that you still haven't or someone else happens to have the same question, we would be happy to provide them.

Codes for iLo TV's:
569
720
729

Although we can't guarantee that these codes will work for all makes of iLo TV's they should work.

  • Teach Learning Commands
  • Receivers: 222k and 722k
    1. Ensure the DISH Network remote control is programmed to the desired remote address to operate the DISH Receiver.
    2. Place both the DISH Network remote and the original equipment's remote control on a flat, stable surface.
    3. On the DISH Network remote, press and hold the mode button for your equipment for about three seconds until all of the mode buttons light up, and then release it. Your selected mode button will blink.
    4. Select the type of learning you wish to perform:
      • Hybrid Mode
        1. Press and release RECALL, then hold the RECORD button for about three seconds until the mode button is lit again. The button remains lit while learning.
        2. Point the front of the original equipment's remote to face the small square (IR window) on the front left-hand side of DISH's remote. Remotes must be within 4 inches of each other.
        3. On the DISH Network remote, press the button you want to teach.

Hi my name is Mike Houston a Social Media Representative at DISH. I see you have a Bose universal remote and you want to program it to your VIP622 DVR. We do not have codes to setup other remotes to our DISH equipment. With our SD/HD receivers they are installed with a DISH universal remote that can control many different components including a Bose system. Program sony remote to operate dish vip722

The Sony RM-YD029 Remote control will work with the Dish Network VIP722 DVR HD Satellite Receiver, but the Dish Network VIP722's Primary remote address must be set to 1.

The procedure below will allow Sony RM-YD029 remote control to operate Dish VIP722.

Using the Dish Network Remote Control -
    1. Press menu 2 times to get to system info page
    2. In the system info page the primary remote address is in a white box (bubble) followed by a Green TV (1)symbol that says IR and indicates you the channel your remote control one is configured. The Sony RM-YD029 will work when this primary remote address number (in the white box) is set to 1.

If the Primary Remote Address of your VIP722 Remote control 1 is not set to channel 1, here is how to change it:

    1. While displaying the system info page, press and hold the SAT button on your dish network remote until all other modes are flashing, about 3 seconds.
    2. then press the '1' button on the numeric pad of your dish remote
    3. then press the '#' button on the numeric pad of the dish remote
    4. then press the 'record' button (red dot button - stores setting)
    5. At this point you should see a number 1 in front of the primary remote address on the dish system info page

Ensure you enter the corresponding IR code into your Sony remote control per the instructions in the manual or Sony's web site. My 722 works with Sony IR code - 01775.
