No I never inflate them when fitting them. But I do make sure the inside of rim and tires are free of burrs, etc. Then when inflating I slightly press the side of tire to let tube inflate and to let air trapped between tube and tire escape. Hope this helps!

How do i change tube on the wheel for my pride prusuit 36 sport? I have it removed and screws in the center of wheel out

Deflate the tyre completely by removing the tyre valve only then undo the nuts on the outer bolts take the two halves of the wheel apart remove the old inner tube noting carefully how the valve was placed through the wheel. Check the wheel interior and rims for rough or rusty patches, clean it up fit the new (empty) inner tube making sure that nothing is pinched reassemble the wheel halves together and be sure to fully tighten all nuts before fitting a new inner tube valve and you are ready to inflate the wheel. Do this in stages and gently bounce the wheel to settle the tube and rims then continue inflating continue a bit beyond the recommended tyre pressure and then release the air to the optimum pressure.

idea. If you have uniform wheels, consider buying a 5th wheel as a spare and fit it to the tow bar/ accessory attachment point behind your seat. I've done this on my venerable Pride Celebrity XL8.

How do I remove a valve stem from riding mower rim?

If your simply replacing it with a new one or installing an inner tube you take a sharp knife and cut back side off. Don't cut completely as you want to catch that piece before it falls inside the tire. Then you simple pull the stem breaking that piece off, catching the back piece as it falls.

If you wanting to put back in a new stem for tubeless use you need a t-shape valve core wrench. After you place the new stem in the hole you thread the tool on and pull the new stem into place.

Wierd grass catcher problem

There are a couple of causes for this. Is the blade height the same on the new mower? Higher blade height could cause a lot of the grass to be blown out from under the deck, and not into the catcher chute.

On the trailing edge of the mower blades is a small 'wing' for lack of a better term. There are two types of blades, mulching blades that have a lower 'wing', while catcher blades that have a slightly higher 'wing' but it makes a difference.

If the season has been hot lately, the grass may not be growing as fast, hence less clippings, and less dense grass could also cause this.

The rear tires on my Everest & Jennings foldable wheelchair are very low in pressure. Both tires have the words "Inflate to 55 - 65 Pounds" clearly stamped on the sidewalls. However, there...

Your tire tubes may have been replaced with urethane foam inserts - these give a comfortable ride like air-filled tires but cannot go flat - would explain why you don't see a fill valve - these inserts fit inside the regular tire carcass.
If they are worn out, you'll need to replace them, process is same as replacing a tube.

I have a Troy-Bilt Pony riding lawn mower and the tire was low when I started using it. The tire ended up getting flat and now it won't seal when I try to air it up. What can I do? Is there a sealant I can...

there is a sealant called slime it is green in color at lowes or depot or walmart read directions and install
or you can buy a inner tube and fix it
tube size is based on tire size
check inside of the tire before the tube is used if you go that route to be sure there is nothing to puncture the tube.
you can buy string type plugs to plug a leak if it is in the tread
use windex or equivalent to search for a leak
if its leaking around the rim remove tire and completely clean the rust from the inner rim where the tires bead seats against the rim when inflated.

From what is an Inflatable Towable made of?

AN INFLATABLE WATER TUBE IS GENERALLY CONSTRUCTED FROM AN ENCLOSED FLEXIBLE PVC RUBBER BLADDER AND SURROUNDED BY A NYLON FABRIC COVER. MOST TUBES CONTAIN A VALVE THAT ALLOWS THE RIDER TO INFLATE THE TUBE MANUALLY OR BY WAY OF AN AIR PUMP. RIDERS SHOULD LOOK FOR TUBES THAT HAVE ENOUGH HANDLES TO ALLOW THE RIDERS TO SAFELY AND COMFORTABLEY RIDE.

Types and sizes

TUBE WITH THEIR STOMACHS FACING DOWNWARD, OR TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TUBE WITH THEIR BOTTOM IN THE "DOUGHNUT" HOLE. DECK TUBES: A SLIGHT VARIATION ON THE STANDARD "DOUGHNUT" TUBE IS THE DECK TUBE. THE DECK TUBE IS SIMLAR TO THE STANDARD IN THAT IT IS USUALLY ROUND IN SHAPE BUT WHAT SETS IT APART IS THE LACK OF A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE. DECK TUBES COME IN ALL SIZES AND ARE USUALLY RIDEN WITH THE RIDER FACING DOWNWARD ACCROSS THE TUBE. DECK TUBES ARE USUALLY DESIGNED WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE RIDERS IN MIND WHO SEEK SPEED AND THE ABILITY TO PERFORM TRICKS WITH THE INFLATABLE. ENCLOSED TUBES: ENCLOSED TUBES ARE NOT MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE OTHERS EXCEPT THAT THEY ENCLOSE THE RIDER WITHIN THE TUBE AND GENERALLY DON'T ALLOW AS MUCH VERSATILITY ON HOW TO RIDE. ENCLOSED TUBES CAN BE GREAT FOR FAIMILIES WITH YOUNGER KIDS OR FOR PEOPLE WHO PREFER A MORE STABLE, DRY RIDE. CONCEPT TUBES: THERE ARE OF COURSE AS MANY OTHER DESIGNS OF INFLATABLES AS THERE ARE PEOPLE WILLING TO RIDE THEM. OTHER POPULAR "CONCEPT" DESIGNS INCLUDE TUBES SHAPED LIKE SNOW SLEDS, SPACE SHIPS, AND HOT DOGS! SINGLE RIDER TUBES: SINGLE RIDER TUBES ARE SO NAMED BECAUSE THEY ACCOMIDATE ONLY ONE RIDER. BECAUSE OF THIS, SINGLE RIDER TUBES TEND TO BE SMALLER AND LIGHTER THAN OTHER TUBES. THIS MAKES THEM GREAT FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE TUBING INVOLVING JUMPS, TRICKS, AND HIGHER SPEEDS. ANOTHER BENEFIT OF SINGLE RIDER TUBES IS THAT DUE TO THEIR SMALLER SIZE, THEY ARE GREAT FOR JET SKIS AND SMALLER, LIGHTER BOATS WITH LESS HORSEPOWER. DOUBLE RIDER AND MULTI RIDER TUBES: DOUBLE RIDER AND MULTI RIDER TUBES ARE DESIGNED TO CARRY MORE THAN ONE RIDER AT A TIME AND WILL TEND TO BE SLOWER, HEAVIER, AND LARGER THAN THEIR SINGLE RIDER COUNTERPARTS. WHEN TOWING A DOUBLE OR MULTI RIDER TUBE, IT MAY BE NECESSARY TO USE A STRONGER, HEAVY DUTY TOW ROPE AND TOW HARNESS TO ACCOMODATE FOR THE INCREASED WEIGHT. BECAUSE OF THEIR LARGER SIZE, THESE TUBES ARE GREAT FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN OR REALLY ANY GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT LIKE BOATING AND WATER SPORTS. MULTI RIDER TUBING IS ALSO A GREAT WAY TO MAKE SOMEONE COMFORTABLE WITH TUBING IF IT’S THEIR FIRST TIME ON THE WATER.
