Question about Aiptek A-HD 720P Flash Media Camcorder

1 Answer

Can Aiptek A-HD 720P record footage from old games?

My Aiptek A-HD records PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, GameCube, and PSP with no problem. However, it will not record Sega Saturn, DreamCast, and if you try to record PS1 games on the PS2, it won't work either. It starts to record fine, but then after like 20 seconds, it says "File Failed" and stops. However, this is the strange part. When I play a 3D game on the Sega Saturn, it can record the 3D part just fine but anything 2D, it gives me the error. DreamCast is probably the same. For the PS1 games on my PS2, same deal. If it's a 2D game, it will freeze, however, 3D games are fine.

The A-Hd is the only Hi def camcorder of Aiptek to record into the camera the Av input iti s called. the A-hd has a lower gain of the mic meaning all video recording of the actual live footage will be low on older models possably normal on the newer today

the Go-hd does not record any footage into thecamera no AV input it will have a higher gain meaning the sound going into the camera will be too loud there is no medium level

Recording using A/V in jack - 18 seconds max allowed

Well there could be a couple things- A. there is a problem with the camcorder's software, which will need to be fixed by a LONG phone call with Aiptek Support B. You could be using the wrong component cables for your TV C. You could have the quality set TOO high for your TV's (The PS2 is NOT HD) I recommend DVD quality for this
Hope this helped, sincerely- animation508 (youtube username)

I can't get my Window's Vista to reconize my Aiptek 720 Hd Camcarder. Why??

You need quicktime, because the Aiptek 720p records to .mov (quicktime) format. If you still have the CD that the camcorder came with, the software is on it. If not, go to google, and search for quicktime free version download. Although I recommend the pro version, due to the fact that it allows conversion of files. It's about $20. Hope this helped-

Hello Aiptek Support... I have bought a Aiptek A-HD 200 pocketDV camcorder and have taken some video scenes. I would now like to transfer the files from the SD card and create a DVD so I may be able to...

Easiest option:

Bought a DVD recorder and done it the old fasion way (also is easy to edit) play on camcorder and record on DVD!
