Connections for electric Whirlpool dryer replacement thermostat do not match wires from dryer.

If the thermostat only has two wires that connect to it then your ok...

you probably have one of the wires not connected correctly. or you could have bad themostat.

if you have already checked the timer and the wiring ect.ect this is looking like a heating element issue please visit www.whirlpool.com to view the online repair manual and parts list this should help you troubleshoot more if needed and it will give you telephone numbers you can call for support. ok?

NO HEAT


Check for 220 volts incoming at the terminal block where your cord connects.
Make certain the dryer wiring is good there also.
Check the heating element to a ground on the dryer.
Check the continuity tthrough the start switch on the motor.
for the heater wire connection.

Changing heater element in kenmore dryer (110.60702990)


the orange wire is for the timer if you do not connect it then the cycles wont work.the timed cycle will but not the other cycles.
