Faulty Fuel sender - Mitsubishi Verada

I have a faulty fuel sender on my Mitsubishi Verada - it shows full after topping up but then drops to empty soon after. I need to check the electrical connections - where do I find the sender ?? Can you advise its location in the car and how I get to it

Fuel Fiiling

You should pick a different gas station. Perhaps one with a working fuel pump. The fuel gun has a valve in it which tells it if your gas tank is full or not. If that pressure valve in the gun isn't working properly, it will always think that your tank is full and stop the pump.

My jvc touch screen shows all info and even shows the time scrolling from track, but no sound comes out, does the same thing with pandora radio. all other features work fine tunner, cd player, etc...

hello, if all your wiring to the deck to the speakers checks out well, and if every speaker connected to the that wiring is in good working order, then chances are that the internal amplfier circuit is faulty. also try the "reset" feature before checking the speakers/speaker cabling. good luck.

Please eject always appears when cd loaded(up or down)

hi, your problem here could be one that is mechanical. try checking the reset switch on the cd mechanism (near the laser) may be dry/faulty, or the load/eject mechanism switches (found on top of mechanism) could be dry/faulty. also check for dry/weak solder joints on connectors between cd mechanism and main pc board. cheers!

92 buick raodmaster fuel gauge not working

I haven't found a fuel gauge that didn't use a wire wound rheostat on the float arm in the tank to apply current to warm a bi-metal strip in the gauge. In my '89 Toyota van, my gauge would only work from 1/4 down. I had to take the tank out to work on the suspension and on removing the sender, I found the sliding contact loose on it's pivot and the coil coated with a white residue. With gentle tweaking and 600 wet-dry paper it works perfect. But I would first check if you are getting 12V to the sender on the tank. Keith L.

I have protect displaying on my stereo

This is most likely due to speaker, speaker wiring, or faulty headunit problems. To troubleshoot this you need to slide the deck out and disconnect only the speaker connections. Turn on the stereo and if it still says "protect" then it's most likely a faulty deck. Otherwise, repeat the procedure of plugging in one set of speakers at a time until the "protect" comes back on. This is now your faulty speaker line. This could be the wiring or the speaker causing the problem so you could try swapping a speaker that you know works. If the problem persists you'll have to run new wire in place of the faulty line.

Panasonic CQ-C700U

Sorry, there's no way to repair the CD, if faulty. Try looking for a "reset" a VERY tiny hole somewhere behind the "door", on the face of the radio chassis...Using a paper clip end push into the tiny hole for a few seconds, ignition/radio on...If you can't find a reset...take it to a friendly local car stereo shop and ask them to diagnose the problem ($40).
Good Luck

How to remove manifold in 1996 jeep grand cherokee loredo?

ok, the manifold comes off with eight bolts, four on top and four on the bottom. they are 9/16 head bolts so use a 9/16 short socket for the bottom, you will need a 3/8 extension for the top bolts about six inches long and make sure you remove all vacuum lines, fuel lines and take the exhaust pipe apart. the manifold should pull out after that. i recommend you take the bottom bolts out first as they are the hardest to get to.

I have a XMD3 with Sirius on a Larson boat. Had same problem - everything seemed to be fine on unit (everything lit up and CD showed different tracks and time changing), but no sound. I suspected a ground problem and checked wires I could see. Found one speaker wire that had been frayed due to faulty installation. As soon as I wiggled that wire I got sound on all speakers. Not sure why one faulty speaker would kill all sound, but it did for me.
