We unpluged it but it is still flashing stop

One thing you can try is to hold down on the power button and plug the unit in. Hopefully you will hear a "beep". Then you need to unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. This is a known procedure to clear error codes from the control computer on units similar to yours, so it might possibly work. try draining the water. Mine did the same thing. Started right back up. There is alot of water be careful.

Make sure your filter & the coils (area under the filter) are clean or that the evaporated water is not overfilled by draining it manually by pulling the plug on the lower rear of the unit (into a bucket of course.) I'm hoping you had gotten an answer sooner...

The flashing light is a delay timer, usually activated when changing from heating to cooling and visa versa. The fact that the unit can only run from certain times shows that the timer is activated. You need to cancel the timer function on the remote.

Turn the air conditioner OFF and
unplug it. NOTE: The air conditioner must be unplugged for the automatic
filter clean timer to reset.
Clean the filter. See the Care and Cleaning section in your use&care manual. After cleaning, replace the filter and plug the air conditioner back in.
