To Whom It May Concern~
I recieved a TI-89 for a Christmas Present (we got the calculator in Circuty City). Whenever I turn on the 89, I get a full black screen. I am unable to do anything with it at all. If anyone can get back to me and tell me how to fix it I'll appreciate it. Thanks

Maybe the contrast setting is off, try holding diamond (green key) and pressing the + and - keys multiple times.
