ok, connect the amp positive to the positive end of one sub coil, take the negative of that coil, and run it to the positive of the second sub coil, then run the negative out of the second sub coil to the negative of the amp.

SOURCE: network key??

Firstly, have you checked on the router itself or in the manual? If not, you'll need to get into the settings on the router to have a look. I can advise you further if you get stuck.

its not a subwoofer it is a midrange speaker. all you do is connect your outputs from the radio to the crossover then connect both the tweeter and midrange to the outputs on the crossover. it is called a component set.

I get a red light on the back panel labeled power. No green light. I don't think the PV 600 is working but when I run the channel check through my Pioneer THX receiver I hear sound. Any thoughts?

The PV600 and PV400 have auto-on circuitry that turns the subwoofer on when a signal is presented, and turns off if no signal is detected for 15 minutes.

Not knowing which Pioneer receiver you have I have dropped in the steps for No Sound from Subwoofer:

• Check that the subwoofer is connected properly, switched on and the volume turned up.

• If your subwoofer has a sleep function, make sure it is switched off.

• Make sure that the Subwoofer setting is YES or PLUS (see Speaker Setting on page xx).

• The crossover frequency may be set too low; try setting it higher to match the characteristics of your other speakers (see Speaker Setting on page xx)

• If there is very little low frequency information in the source material, change your speaker settings to Front: SMALL / Subwoofer: YES , or Front: LARGE / Subwoofer: PLUS (see Speaker Setting on page xx).

• Check that the LFE channel is not set to -80dB , or a very quiet setting (see Bass Peak Level

on page xx).

• Check the speaker level settings (see Channel Level on page xx).

Regarding the Large vs Small assignment of speakers, what they mean isn't so much the physical size but the ability to handle real bass. Large if Yes.

Need help.. I have two 12 inch dual voice coil kicker comp vrs.. they are 4 ohm subs..how do i wire them to get a final ohm load between 1.5 to 4ohms in a dual enclosed box...Im hooking them up to a jl 500...

To do this they MUST be wired in parallel, IE: Plus to Plus, Negative to Negative. 2 4 OHMS in parallel is about 2 OHMS in series it would be 8 OHMS... series is positive to negative. Are you using a crossover network?

I get no music out of the tweeter

Connect the wires of the speaker to a 1.5 volt battery. Plus wire to plus terminal of the battery etc... Only let it touch the battery for a short time! You should hear a pop from the speaker! Put your ear close to the tweeter and see if does the same. If It doesn't, go inside the speaker and connect the battery direct to the tweeter (disconnect it from the crossover unit that feeds it). If it still doesn't pop it's gone and you will need to replace it. If it does it's the crossover that is faulty.
Tweeters are the first to go when the amp is at high volume. So make certain that the speakers don't have a lower wattage than the amp. If they have you must never turn up the volume very high or you will lose the speaker again.

2002 Ford Explorer Sport - Blown Subwoofer

yes you can replace it but is gonna be costly, because your gonna need a box plus the new woofer, any after market will not fit plus will require more power ,so your gonna need a bigger amp, plus wiring etc,,,,,re consider using a factory sub again or replace the sub plus the amp..check the replacements and amps at crutchfield..good luck

Wharfdale moviestar 70 speekers and sub

i have the same moviestars 70+ plus a yamaha rx-v750 put the crossover on the sub to maximum (left knob) volume (right knob) about 2/3 clockwise. change the crossover on the yamaha to anywhere from 80-120 ( the 120 will put more bass to the sub) if your yamaha has sub level/volume control set it higher, also if it has LFE/sub out set it to sub only.
Good luck!
