Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Bought a genuine remote off eBay for a Harman Kardon HK 3250. Drives everything fine except the volume control. Would it be faulty or doesn't it work due to a wind volume control?

Turning, or winding, volume controls can still be adjusted with the original remote control. You should check to see if it is the exact remote that originally came with your model. Different model remotes might control some functions, but not others. The remote is most likely not broken, just the wrong one.

There is nothing on my Emerson tv model EWC 1902 or the remote that will allow me to switch from cable to antenna so what do I do now?

Its original remote control only will have TV/AV selection button. Buy an original one. If you wish to buy its original remote control, contact the authorized service centre, or authorized dealer to your device brand. They can either give you a genuine remote control to your device, or can direct you, from where can you purchase a suitable one. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

How do I set the clock without the remote?

Look at link above, you could buy the original remote from e-bay for $25 plus get another vcr. Only two days left so act fast. Universal remotes - try a different one, other than that its going to be difficult. You could also buy another vcr that has its own remote from a thrift shop or craigslist.

Looking to obtain a HS-U448 manual and remote.

The manual is available from the Mitsubishi Support site: http://support.mitsubishi-tv.com/documents/HS-U448 . The direct link to the manual is http://support.mitsubishi-tv.com/files/oguide/HS-U448.pdf .

The original remote is no longer available. However, remotes.com has a substitute remote: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=HS-U448&uuid=13065385902780 .

A number of universal remotes will probably also work. The codes will be in any remote that still controls a VCR if the remote was programmed after the HS-U448 was released.

I hope this helps.

Just need remote control for MITSUBISHI HS-U447. Where can I get?

You can get a refurbished original remote from remotes.com:
http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=+HS-U447&uuid=12711979640130

Alternatively you can get a universal remote and search for the code (high end remotes can be set by a computer saving a lot of search time).

No manual or remote

Following the instructions I have been able to program a Philips SRU4105WM/17 universal remote using the first Mitsubishi code from the code list. However, I had to have the universal remote "learn" the vcr/tv button function (I assigned it to the Exit button). Good thing I still have the original Mitsubishi remote:-) I haven't tried having the universal remote learn all the functions, such as Cancel, Counter Reset, Audio Function, Video Function etc. I could see if I'm able to program those, if you'd like. LMK if you have any other questions.

No I'm afraid not, you must have the remote to perform these functions. You can get a original replacement remote from here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&smodel=HSU575&brand_pn=MITSUBISHI_HSU575&mode=large&uid=11752605060460 Good Luck
