SOURCE: My reverse cycle air con (Mitsubishi MSH 12RV) is

I would check the reversing valve. This is what switches the flow of refrigerant for Heating and cooling. There could be several other reasons that could cause it not to heat.
Good Luck, Sincerely, shastalaker7

ps Heat pumps are very temper mental, like I said there could be many things that could cause this problem, and I couldn't walk you through them all. If you have a split system, two piece unit, go to the out side unit and have some run the a/c in cool. Then after a few min. have them switch it to heat and you can hear the reversing valve switch to heat, as it will make a swishing sound. If it doesnt, the valve may be bad, no power to the coil on it, or even the coil could be burned out.
Sincerely, shastalaker7

SOURCE: I have a heat pump

If its not being turned off by the thermostat, sounds like it might be the low presure switch kicking it off due to low freon. You will have to get a HVAC tech to charge it back up.

Rapid Continuous Flashing of Air Bag Indicator (No Diagnostic Trouble Code) Both Primary Crash Sensors Disconnected Assembly Plant Mode

TROUBLE CODE CLEARING

1. Follow the diagnostic procedures to service the fault condition flashing on the air bag indicator prior to code clearing.

2. Cycle the ignition switch to OFF and then to RUN.

3. Observe air bag indicator prove-out (six ? two seconds) followed by diagnostic trouble code (52-85) flashing completely one time.

4. Locate the Diagnostic "Trouble Code Clear" Connector (grey connector). located underneath the glove compartment, left side (06010) containing Circuits 631 (T/R) and 57 (BK).

5. Use a jumper wire to short Circuit 631 (T/R) to Circuit 57 (BK) or to another good ground. This short must be made after the diagnostic trouble code flashes completely one time, but before the warning light stays on continuously.

6. Hold short until air bag diagnostic monitor tone sounds (approximately five seconds).

7. Release short on Circuit 631 (T/R) to Circuit 57 (BK). This short must be released within 25 seconds after the diagnostic monitor tone sounds.

Diagnostic trouble code is now cleared from memory. Next highest priority diagnostic trouble code stored (if one exists) will begin flashing.

The codes and clearing proceedure above are to be used as a guide, NO claims are implied as to the correctness or accuracy of either.

Greetings,
usually, open and close door..then start counting the flashes. these will give you your fault code. The code then tells us where to go from there. off hand, i would say you have a heater problem.. Either, the water is not getting hot enough because of a faulty heater, or faulty thermostat. The button above the green light that flashes try and hold that down for a minute to reset....let me know about the flashes

Clean light keeps blinking...how do i reset?

it's telling u you have a fault but to clear it just press ur start button until the washer beeps then shut the door and leave shut until the aplliance stops. it will be ready to use. The flashes are usually intermittant i.e 3 quick flashes then a small break then 3 flashes again this process will repeat over and over. Count the flashes and let me know the amount i'll look at the fault for you

Hope this helps

Dishwasher keeps pumping out - won't start cycle - green light flashing on panel

I had same symptoms on a Hotpoint dishwasher.
Turned out to be a failed water heater.
The logic in this case goes like this:
When wash cycle starts, the first thing the machine does is pump out any water that has collected in the sump since it was last run.
It then allows a small amount of clean water in and enables the water heater.
If heater okay, it then continues with the rest of cycle.
In this case, the control board detected failed heater so pumps out the water and then stops with an error code shown by a flashing lamp.

No simple fix I'm afraid - machine had to be turned on its side, bottom panel removed, several items had to be removed to get at the water heater which was then repalced with a new one.

You dont state what make/model your dishwasher is so maybe worth adding this information as someone else may recognise your fault and have a quick fix.

Sony wega kp51 turns on for 3 secs than off w/ blinking red light

The flashes are fault codes. It means your system is faulty. If it is intermittent then it is more than likely a dust issue. Buy an air duster, spray out the back and restart. Should be fine

If it continues to play up then it will be a repair job

Yes, the flashing light on start-up is actually the Waste Ink pad is full
a Canon tech suggests that the job is very difficult (unfortunately even for them)
HOWEVER....
good news is that you can override it for awhile...
  • turn off power
  • press & hold RESUME button, then press POWER button
  • continue to hold POWER then release RESUME button
  • Press RESUME Button 2x quick
  • Release both RESUME and POWER
  • Green light will now blink, then stop
  • With Green light on....press RESUME 4x
  • Push Power button to turn printer off
this should resolve the issue
remember to rate the solutions...anything less than FIXYA actually lowers my rank...I didn't make the system...just wanting everyone to understand the impact of their vote....so if you need further help...just ask....hope it fixya'd...if it did then rate please!
