Some only come in Japanese because they were sold for the Japanese market only.

There are two ways

Put the Google Translate App on your smartphone and use the camera feature to translate what you can see on the screen. Look for Settings - Language.

go into the language settings, and select English. Use google translate to figure out what words like settings, and language, and English look like. and if you have to look up the words in Japanese writing.

i think you will probably have to have the systems software re flashed with the English version of the operational soft ware. here is a link that might help. This guy sounds pretty knowledgeable and note the comments below particularly the one that says . There is no way to convert it..
