My ma-1350 cash register wont work it like froze none of the buttons work & on the screen the slip/price light is on

Have you tried pushing the no sale button, that usually opens electronic registers. Or you could you read the instruction book, no sarcasm intended, it's just that people forget all about the book once the machine is up and running. Good luck.

TEC stuff has little support now. I haven't worked on one of them in years. There are manuals on the net though so thats your best bet. Try here

I have bought a TEK MA-1350 and have reset it back to factory settings but can't figure out how to reprogramme it. It just beeps whatever button I press so I can't even use it manually.

On pdf page 83 it says the following:
Usually, all the basic program data required for your store should be set before delivering the product by your local TOSHIBA TEC
representative.

There are also direct character entry methods listed to program the keyboard.
To reprogram the whole thing though might take years looking at the programming method.

MA TEC-1450 numeric keys work but will not register when cash button hit??


Hi Chris.
You need to use a department or PLU (depending upon your setup) to register a product before you press the cash button. Check whether the machine registers when you use a product button. If so, you should try another payment button such as CREDIT. If it works, there is a problem with the CASH button programming

Cash register beeps cannot open drawer only the C button stops the beeps


I haven't seen this model but it sounds like you haven't logged on. Look up clerk sign on in the operation section of your manual.

Had the same problem if the slip price light is on blow out the validation slot with a can of air its that simple

Does it buzz all the time, or just when you press buttons? Does it buzz if you press the numeric buttons, or just item buttons? Does it buzz in all key positions, or just REG mode?
