Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: How can I block texts

In your mobile if you have options to screen numbers under message settings you can do it . About calls, you cannot do it at your end. Contact your service provider customer care center and report the number to them. they can avoid it. Or they will take necessary steps that it does not happen again.

T mobile login to my account

when you make a call from a T-Mobile device, you may choose to block your Caller-ID information, which you can generally do by dialing *67 prior to dialing the called party's number. Refer to the specific instructions for your communication device regarding Caller ID Blocking for other or different dialing instructions. Please note, however, that Caller ID Blocking does not prevent the display of your information when you dial certain business numbers, including 911, 900 numbers, or toll-free numbers. For more specific information or instructions, you may reach a customer service representative by dialing 611 from your T-Mobile phone or 1-800-937-8997 from any phone

Every time I get a text message it alerts me by saying "Message from _____" and then the name of the person. I want to silent this feature but I cannot find the feature to do that.

What kind of vacuum is this anyway???

I will try to help you with your problem even though you have not identified your make and model phone and you are in the wrong category. I will try to help you by telling you what I would do with my phone to change this setting. The procedure for changing your phone is probably different ... but perhaps you will get some insight from my remarks.

This is for calls and messages - My phone is a **** style LG. On the left side there are two buttons. I press the bottom one to get a menu list. Next I press the Right Soft Key called 'settings'. Next I select item number 6 called "call alert" I press OK. My three options are ( ) ring only or ( ) Caller ID and Ring ( ) Name Repeat.

I use (>) caller ID + ring and I hear the number or the name of the caller if in my phone book then the ring I have selected for that caller or texter.

Specific for messages ... I select Settings & Tools then I select Sound Settings then I select Alert Sounds then I select Test Messages and then I make my setting.

I hope this assists you with your settings even though I feel you probably dont have the same phone as I.

I have nokia BL-4S. I want to stop text messages

Hi There,

Some Nokia fones have an activation for this kind of situation and it can be found in your;

Settings/Call Settings/Screening. OR

This is where you enter the callers number and automatically disallows their texts to come through.

Some other fones might have it labelled in their configuration as Blacklist.

Regards,
Sox

I've got a LG Viewty and I want to block a certain number from sending me texts. I know you can block calls by putting them into a group and blocking it, but I can't seem to block texts. Help!

Unfortunately you can not block sms from specific users by putting them block list.
This can only be done at Service Provider level.

Block Phone Number

Try using the caller id feature to set the ringtone for that number only to *no ringtone*. (Menu> Settings & Tools> Sounds> Call Sounds> Call Ringtone> Caller ID) That way you don't need to call your provider, but you're also not bothered when that number calls.
Alternately, you could use a FREE service like www.youmail.com to redirect the calls from *that* number to a prerecorded message like, "the number you've called is no longer in service." YouMail has a ton of 'em, and they sound real. Check it out.

Good Luck!
