I may be able to help.If you can tell me what codes the tractor has stored that would be a good place to start. You can get the codes by putting a fuse in the "cal" position of the front bottom half of the fuse box, then use the signal light switch right turn signal to get to each controller. When you get to the controller you want(bcu, hcu, rcu, bif) pull back on the signal light switch(flash to pass) and the signal right one more time.Next you need to momentarily turn on then off the hazard lights. Now record the codes in each of the controllers and send them to me and we will go from there.Let me know if you can,t get this to work.

SOURCE: When I engage the mowing

I would recommend checking the resistance at the clutch. The resistance should be less than 8 ohms but more than 3.
If there are three bolts on the clutch like this:
adjustable clutch picture
then use a feeler gauge and gap the clutch plates .010-.012"

If your clutch fails the ohm test and looks like this:

non-adjustable clutch

then you need to verify that you have a good ground from the battery and replace the clutch.
A local dealer like can help you locate the correct clutch for your machine.

Massey ferguson 3655

sounds like the seals are gone on the 4wd shaft, it takes oil pressure to keep the 4wd off, but if the seals are worn the all passes through and the 4wd will not dissingage, you will need a experianced michanic
