It's actually "Ft", which means "Full Tank".  The instruction manual says to drain the internal safety tank through the drain hoses.
To drain the tank, open the cover on the rear of the appliance. Pull out the 2 drain hoses, take off the caps, and let all the residual water flow out.  When all the water has been drained, place the caps back on the hoses and put the hoses back inside.
It also says you need to clean the filters and let them dry thoroughly before putting them back.
This is also the procedure for "End of Season Operations."
Hope this helps!

I had similar problem .... on very humid days unit leaks ..... temp solution for me was to drain the unit .... inserted wire coat hanger into tube .... lots of watery gook came out.. - even tilted/tipped the unit inorder to get as much water out of it.......afterwards unit worked fine.

We are VERY SASTIFIED with the Delonghi Pinguino - bought it years ago when it first came out and it has provided years of troublefree service .... the water build up / leaking was only recently - in fact we never drained the thing until this year.

That probably is Ft, meaning full tank. Look on the bottom of the back side, and there should be a small "hatch" that will open. The two small hoses in there are drain hoses that can be unplugged to drain the tank. They're right at the bottom, so if you have a way to raise the unit up a little that would let you drain the water into a container. Might be a good time to clean the filter too.

Compressor not turning on - but unit turns on and fan works - even when temp turned all the way down.

all the way down is as warm as the refrigrator can get. Sounds like start components are the problem.

We have a delonghi pinguino pac-t105 which just doesnt get very cold.

Instructions Things You'll Need:
  • Clean cloth(s)
  • Garden hose (if necessary)
  1. Verify that the air conditioner is connected to a power supply if the unit is not operating. Reset the circuit breaker or fuse if necessary and ensure that the electrical cord is plugged firmly into the unit.
  2. Clean the condenser coil with water from a garden hose and wipe down the fan motor blades with a clean cloth if the air conditioner is flashing a yellow alert light or is not operating or cooling as expected. Remember to turn off and unplug the air conditioner prior to maintenance.
  3. Adjust the thermostat to a warmer setting if the air conditioner is producing air that is too cold. Adjust the thermostat to a colder setting if the air conditioner is not producing enough cold air. Allow a few hours for the colder or warmer setting to take effect.
  4. Clean away leaves, dirt, branches or other debris away from the main unit if the air conditioner is not functioning well or the motor is running excessively. Clean the grilles and vents to allow for proper air flow.
  5. Contact an authorized service professional if the above steps do not resolve the issue

Selonghi pinguino super pac 26 works fine for about 20 min the turns off with the warning light that is the same as the power light flashing. How can this be fixed as apart from that it is fine. I did...

I had the same problem. Except it only lasted 10mins. It turned out that the water pump was not moving enough (any actually) water to cool down the heat exchange unit. The unit turns off if it overheats. I pulled the back off and realised that the water resevoir container was full of lime & calcium scale. Some of that had obviously got into the impeller blade in the water pump. I removed the water pump & hose and discovered a lot of hard crud in there. Cleaned it out, reassembled and hey presto the water was flowing agin and the heat exchanger was happy. Problem Soved. Anthony

Delonghi PAc 60 it just stopped 12 months later with a warning light

Reset the GFIC if it has it.
Bypass it if you know how. they go bad often.
or open the unit and use an ac meter an make sure it is getting power at least , trace the ac cable to the board. and test.
Careful it may hurt bad.
