Setting the clock on Eclipse cd5405 deck

I just bought a car that has an Eclipse CD5405 cd player in it. I can't figure out how to set the clock, however, and would really appreciate it if anybody could tell me how.

Push the function button once. turn the right knob (SEL) untill CLOCK ADJ shows on the screen. push SEL in one time to lock in CLOCK ADJ and the hours will blink. Turn the SEL knob to set the hours. push SEL again to get to the min. Turn SEL again to set min.

Clock setting on jvc kd-g140 car audio deck

Press the Mode button (M) and the display will flash mode. Then hold the select button (SEL) until it changes to display something else. Hit left and right seek until you find clock M and clock H. Hit select again and use the volume button to change the time! Took me two freaking hours to figure that **** out.

Clock setting

Hold the SEL button down for more than 3 seconds. A sub menu appears. Use the track select arrow key to select the hours, rotate the volume knob to correct hour. Press track select key to select minutes, rotate volume to appropriate minute. press select again to finish. If this doesn't help, go to, then go to support, then user manuals, enter model number. You can dowload the entire manual for free.
Good luck

Eclipse 5340 deck

I forget about the security light but I do know about the clock. I believe you turn the deck off and hold display or push display and the clock will come up. Then use the preset buttons for adjustment. I think 1/2 is for the hour and 3/4 are for the minute. It has been a while for me doing this but I think it is right. I just powered mine back up a while back and am trying to find my starting cd. You wouldn't happen to know how to reset this function and start over?
