I need help getting my IDE Que Drive to work. It
is an internal 8X4X32 CDRW Model SW-208. I am
running Windows Me and using the supplied Adaptec
Easy CD Creator Version 4.02e1. The CD player
works fine but when I try to burn anything to CD
I get the error "There are no CD-Recorders
available". I have double and triple checked
all of the cable connections. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with the same drive. I have had it as the master
on the 2nd IDE chain and the slave in both positions the cable, I've tried
every copy and updated version of Easy CD Creator 4 (up to 4.03) and Nero
5.0 with none of them recognizing the drive as a writer.
Please help!!!!!

heard several people having problems with WinMe
and CDR's. Put it on another PC with Win98....I loaded Win98 first,
installed all my drivers and then upgraded to
WinME...

This will not help. I have a dual boot system with 98SE and Win2K
Pro, and the drive does not work as a writer on either; both give the
same errors.
The drive is a piece of shit - period. Nuff said.
