SOURCE: ringgrip timer retp timer manual

1) Send a photo so I can see it.

2) Raindrip makes water timers.
http://raindrip.com/products/timers?vmcchk=1

3) Otherwise the only reference on worldwide web for ringgrip is Fixya, which shows links to answers that cannot show a product either.

4) And if all the links to your product show Fixya as first page google search, then there is likely no information available.

I need to know how to set the time on my model RETP RINGGRIP TIMER

To set the time;
Press and hold the TIME button during the time setting procedure. While holding the time button press DAY to set the correct day and HR to set the correct hour (make sure the am/pm is correct) and then MIN to set the correct minutes. (If you hold down the Day/Hr/Min button for more than 2 seconds it will give a fast run-through)

I have a old Ringgrip timer with little pins which allow the timer to switch on and off. I need to buy more pins

1) I specialize in timers, and search timer information each day.
The only tripper pins available on internet are for Intermatic box-type and some outdoor timers.
http://www.electricsupplyonline.com/prod/intermatic-trippers.php
And not all Intermatic timers have trippers, because Intermatic manufactures timers for a lot of other companies, and sells timers under many brands.

2) Open following link to find same/similar timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html

3) You can add a comment and describe your timer, and I might know of same/similar product

Add a comment for more free help.
Also take advantage of fixya phone service.
For a price, expert speaks with you over phone while you work on timer or any do-it-yourself project.
Fixya is always less expensive than a service call.

Can't seem to figure it out. Directions are not specific enough. We set "the time now", but the white/AM, dark/PM is weird. Please help w/ directions. We need the light for chicken house. Light on 5:00 AM...

What kind of Woods timer do you have?

Is the dial turning? The dial is the clock. And the clock needs electricity to work, just like alarm clock. If dial is not turning, the wiring is not right.

Does the manual override turn on the lights? Maybe the slider switch set to OFF? Set slider to "Timer" for timer functions to work.

Wall timer:
If you have 59017 wall timer, it has dark PM white AM. You rotate dial until correct time lines up with little triangle located on right side of center knob.
7e3b45a.jpg

There are 48 plastic pins on dial ... when pins are moved out, the lights are off. For timer functions, set slide switch to 'Timer'
Correct wiring is needed for timer to work:
Timer black attaches to Hot wire from breaker box
Timer red attaches to wire going to Load (lights)
Timer white must attach to white Neutral (or if your box has no neutral, connect white to bare ground)
Timer green connects to bare ground

If wiring seems right but dial on front of timer is still not rotating, then reverse Timer red and Timer black and see if that sorts out problem.

If this is wrong Woods timer, please re-post question.
