I bought this 27" tv,picture is beautiful but I have a small problem, when I turn it on the olevia dysplay comes on and stays on for about a minute is there any way to avoid this or is there a code on the remote to take this off.
Thanks.
I have the same problem with the Olevia screen comes on everytime you turn on the TV. I also can't find a code for the TV that I can program into any of my remotes.

I have an Olevia also and it's the same way. I spent about an hour and a half on hold for tech support only to be told, "That's the way it is." Oh, he also said, "Thanks for buying our product. Happy day to you!" So every time I turn it on I think, "Happy day to you!" and by the time I'm done laughing the logo's gone! Hope this helps. ''HAPPY DAY TO YOU!"

I'm not sure there is a code for the b107a. (There wasn't on my old Sony remote either.) I just bought a Sony RM-VLZ620 for about $20 and it does have codes for Olevia.
I have been having the same problem with my 37" Olevia and have sent it to service twice.
The warranty people for Target have told me there's nothing wrong with the TV and have blamed it on the Satellite Service.
I changed satellite providers twice before sending it for service and had the same problem. So I changed to cable and I still had the problem. So I sent it yet again.
This time they told me that again there was no problem with the TV and that the satellite service is to blame.
So we called the Olevia Service and they told us is the Inverter Box and we need to send it in but to get it fixed they will charge us about half of what the TV costs... I say Hell no!
> I heard they were restructuring their company or something. There has been a change ownership from Syntax-Brillian to Olevia International Group. Details of Olevia brand Unfortunately for all of us (we have 747i) service seems very poor and the failure mode you describe doesn't give me any clues despite 40+ years of service experience. Ours is still 100% but I now suspect our trouble will come.
Have the same problem with a 532H - but here is what I did to resolve the issue:
1) Click your Menu button on the TV remote.
2) Go to Screen (click the right button)
3) Go to Main Picture Source (click the right button)
4) Select HDMI (click the Menu button when done)
On mine the indicator light is indicating that it is in STANDBY mode, which means it is OFF. Press the button again, which will turn off the light and now the tv is ON. Now merely press(possibly multiple times) SOURCE to find the correct source for your Cable/SAT and your good to go.
I just repaired a 26" in which the stand came off after I took the primary panel off in the middle of the back then the screws were visible that Olevia is talking about. You might have a different style but it does come off.
