Ok what the problem is is that with wireless headphones we hear buzzing noises and sometimes you can hear the background noise just not the words that are being said. Then if you put it in Spanish you can hear it all! Weird! It does it with every Dvd that I have put in there and that is about 40 different ones! It is not connected to the car speakers just for wireless headphones!
If it is in Spanish you can hear it all but in English you get buzzing or just background sound no words!

Well I don't know I mean it worked fine before but we had to move it because of the rear air we moved it up a bit and now it goes crazy doing the buzz thing

Let me make sure I understand this. When you have a DVD play in English, you get a buzzing noise in your wireless headphones. But if it plays in Spanish, it sounds fine? Does this occur with every DVD, or just a certain DVD? Have you tried listening to it without the headphones - using car speakers. If so, did you have the same problem? If you can answer those questions for me, I can try to figure out what's wrong here.

The only possible reason I could see for that happening is that your DVD player has problems decoding the primary voice track. I imagine if you found a DVD that was in Spanish (or any other language) by default, and had English as an option, the English would sound find by the Spanish would be all buzzing.

I have never heard of this happening before, however. That's why I took two days to respond, and likely why no one else responded. It was a bit difficult to deduce the problem. But, really that is the only thing it COULD be.

Unfortunately, that means there's an error in the base programming for the DVD player. I don't know how much of that is hard wired, but I imagine the error is in the firmware. Unless you can find a way to upgrade the firmware yourself (which I doubt, few DVD players allow for this), you're going to have to take it in somewhere to get fixed. This really isn't a home repair thing.

Sorry I can't give you better news on that.

Oh, but the headphones should have nothing to do with it. I'm sure they're fine.

Something obscure on the board must have been damaged then. Still, as far as the DVD player is concerned the only difference between English and Spanish is which track it's reading on the DVD. Since it happens with every DVD, it must have problems reading that track.

I suppose it could be a weak laser, that doesn't cover that specific part of the disk well. That seems very unlikely, but so does this problem.

See if you can find a DVD that's primary language isn't English, but that allows English as a secondary language. If you can, see if the English sounds fine and the primary language doesn't.

You could try replacing the laser, but I wouldn't suggest it. There's just no way to know without having it tested in a shop (and by tested, I mean they'll swap the parts, see if it works, then swap back if it doesn't). And you don't want to go buying parts you don't need.

Honestly, that's about the extent of what I know to suggest to you without looking at it myself.

Have you had a chance to test it with a DVD that doesn't have English as the default language?

Why won't youtube videos play on my tview in dash radio?

This could be because your DVD wont accept the format that YouTube use. I believe they use ( .FLV )
What you need to do is to convert it to .MPEG format to play on dvd or DVD format .VOB..
There is a very good converter on the internet called Pazera. Click on the link below and download it. ITS FREE.
Hope this helps.

When I put my DVD into my Tview headrest unit, it runs and runs and runs and then comes up and says no disc

If that only happens with one specific DVD, the problem is that DVD. Try playing it on another DVD player and see what happens.

If your TView won't play any DVDs, try turning the power off, blowing some compressed air into the unit, and turning the power back and see if that makes a difference.

Buzzing noise coming throught my headset on my turtle beach x1 headphones

Check if the buzz stops when you remove the talkback cable. If so, then try a wireless controller if you're using a wired one. Also, don't use a play and charge kit because it causes a lot of buzz on the headset.

2005 dodge caravan, factory dvd... no sound through speakers

My grandcarvan sxt came with a remote for the DVD system and wireless headphones from KOSS. You have to press the headphone button on the remote to change it to headphones otherwise it comes through the main system. With the button pressed we can listen to cd or radio in front while they wear the headphones in back. You might need the remote to change it back to main system. The headphones from Koss are lifetime guaranty and not too expensive.
