Water dripping under the rim, into the tub

Sounds to me like you have a siphoning problem You probably have your drain hose too far down in the drain pipe. When this happens the drain hose goes into the trap of the drain pipe. It then pull the water from the drain pipe back into your washer cause it cant break the vacuum. Pull your drain hose up so that on a little bit of the pipe is sticking down the drain pipe

Audi S8 Airconditioning

The water is probably condensing on the outer pipe, and then following a pipe and dripping inside the car from some bad insulated gasket.
There is also a drain hose for the AC that must be checked.
You must individuate where water comes from and re insulate gasket or clean drain hose.

Hello, you can use a drain hose and coonect it to the outlet of the drain hole. This way you can terminate the hose away from your neighbor.

How to replace water pump on 1991 pontiac quad 4

2.3L Engine
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable
  2. Detach the oxygen sensor connector.
  3. Properly drain the engine coolant into a suitable container. Remove the heater hose from the thermostat housing for more complete coolant drain.
  4. Remove upper and lower exhaust manifold heat shields.
  5. Remove the bolt that attaches the exhaust manifold brace to the manifold.
  6. Break loose the manifold to exhaust pipe spring loaded bolts using a 13mm box wrench.
  7. Raise and safely support the vehicle. NOTE: It is necessary to relieve the spring pressure from 1 bolt prior to removing the second bolt. If the spring pressure is not relieved, it will cause the exhaust pipe to twist and bind up the bolt as it is removed.
  8. Remove the manifold to exhaust pipe bolts from the exhaust pipe flange as follows:
    1. Unscrew either bolt clockwise 4 turns.
    2. Remove the other bolt.
    3. Remove the first bolt.
  9. Pull down and back on the exhaust pipe to disengage it from the exhaust manifold bolts.
  10. Remove the radiator outlet pipe from the oil pan and transaxle. If equipped with a manual transaxle, remove the exhaust manifold brace. Leave the lower radiator hose attached and pull down on the outlet pipe to remove it from the water pump.
  11. Carefully lower the vehicle.
  12. Remove the exhaust manifold, seals and gaskets.
  13. Loosen and reposition the rear engine mount and bracket for clearance, as required.
  14. Remove the water pump mounting bolts and nuts. Remove the water pump and cover assembly, then separate the two pieces.

We live in an apartment complex and have a Trane Air Conditioner, each unit has its own central air. I believe the one in our unit has clogged drain pipes, when we first moved in we didnt change the air...

Hello You have to cut the pipe and blow out each end,You can use a 1"rubber hose from an auto parts store & 2 hose clamps, If you can't find the end. This will allow access in the future to clean out the pipes. It will slip over 3/4" PVC pipe. They sell a PVC pipe cutter but a hacksaw blade works well.Get ready for all the water in the pan once you cut!

Machine seems to fill with water when not in use

This often is a drain hose that is too low or a drain hose that has been pushed too far down inside the stand pipe....the water is actually siphoning out of the washer. Do not "seal" the drain hose to the house plumbing pipe, this will also allow the water to be siphoned out.If drain hose is checked ok then its confirmed problem of faulty water fill valve.
the fill valve is leaking. When they go bad they can leak water without being told to by the timer. I would replace the fill valve after pulling the hose off the fill end and watching to see if water drips out.

For getting parts you can get it from www.repairclinic.com

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Drain hose has a constant drip with the washer empty.

Hi just read your posting. Now does the drain hose drip water when it is washing or when it is filling or all the time?Problem could be a stuck diverter. This component recirculates the wash water .Please look under the machine to the front right. You should see a red or black fan, this is your pump.On the black pipe which is the drain hose you should see a small component with 2 wires to it,this is the diverter. Please reply to confirm the style of pump and diverter and I can guide you throe the next stage of testing for this fault.Looking forward to your reply.

I have a Weather King AC/Furnace in the attic that's dripping water into the drain pan. When we purchased our new house it came with this unit and it never dripped ater. Now, the water is dripping towards...

I assume it is dripping water when the AC is running. If you look at the attic unit, there should be a PVC pipe running from the unit - probably an insulated PVC pipe. This pipe probably goes across the attic to the edge of the house and drains outside. The drain pan may also have a drain pipe, but the one on the AC unit is the issue, and is probably plugged. Go outside and see if you can locate the AC drain pipe. See if the ground is wet below the pipe and if water is steadily dripping from the pipe (with AC running). If the pipe and ground are dry, the pipe is plugged. If you have a wet/dry vac, try connecting it to the drain pipe outside to see if you can **** the pluggage out. If you can get it clear, water should start dripping out of the pipe. This same thing happened at our house. I decided to cut the pipe in the attic, and add in a PVC isolation valve, tee, and water hose connection with plug, so I can valve out the AC unit from the pipe, remove hose connection plug, and hook up a water hose and flush the line to outside. Lowe's sells all of the PVC pipe fittings. The water pressure from the hose will always flush out the algae and crud to the outside of the house. I can also remove the plug and pour a cup of bleach down the drain pipe every couple of months to keep algae growth in check. I also cut out the trap (u-leg) from pipe in the attic and purchased a ready made trap a Lowes (the contractor who built our house had made a lousy homemade trap). I purchased a few PVC elbows and installed the trap on the drain pipe outside. By the way, our AC drain pipe comes out of our wall outside and drains near our outside unit. Our secondary drain pan drain pipe comes out outside from an eave on the side of the house. I don't know what you drain line looks like (it may have a port to add bleach, or some cleanout provisions, maybe not). If you choose to modify/improve it, then make a sketch of it, go to Lowe's and get the PVC parts you need + PVC pipe primer and cement. PVC cement dries fast. Remember, the pipe must flow downhill from you AC attic unit. You can use a regular wood saw to cut the pipe. I hope this helps you. You need to keep the drain line clear as algae will continue to grow in it. Pouring bleach in the line every month or two helps. You also need to check maybe once a month that the line is draining properly (check to see if dripping outside). You can get some serious water damage to your ceilings if the water backs up and overflows. I discovered that our drain line was plugged just in time as our drain pan drain line was also partially plugged and drain pan was about to overflow.

We have a 9000 btu portable frigidare air conditioner, we are constantly having to manually drain the bucket even with drain pump hose attatched. Is it possible tat the drain pump is broken? Occasionally...

Wow maybe you have a lot of moisture in the air.
It is a strong posibility the pump has trash in it. periodically clean out the pump for best results.
I realy have never even seen a 9000 btu portable ac or worked on one. Just guessing.

Dripping water inside fridge. Can't find drain hose

at the rear of the fridge unit there is a hole, normally at the bottom of a shallow "v" shape. there should be a plastic insert in it to clear any blockages, just wiggle it a bit. failing that a pipe cleaner will do the same.
