Cleaning The Brush Head

I got pretty good results this way (and mine was trashed): Hot water first. Dry the exterior enough to tape the suction end with duct or electrical tape to get a good seal. fill from the other end with bleach. Shake it around and then let it sit in the sink full of bleach for a few minutes. Then remove tape and flush with hot water. The sides of the window may still have debris, hair, or mildew left over. With hot water running, I would alternately add water, and tap the whole attachment against the side of the sink to loosen it up. I kept doing that until i was happy with the results. 37c10874-0738-4aca-8ef6-36cc7428a263.jpg

REPLACEING SCREEN ON G800

Hello,

To replace the screen of the samsung g800, get there appropriate screwdriver and follow the process below;
  1. Remove your back cover, battery, sim and memory card. Remove the six screws (two at the bottom are covered by rubber stoppers which are easily removed). You can now remove the battery compartment.
  2. Below you can see the battery cover removed. You now need to disconnect the circled ribbon connector. It attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift the connector up to unplug it.
  3. Lift the circuit board up to reveal another connector. It attaches like the last one. Unplug this
  4. You can now remove the circuit board. Note that the ribbon running along the right of the circuit board, with the volume buttons at the end, is lightly stuck down with a tacky glue or double sided tape.
  5. Remove the grey part. Note that the ribbon with the camera button at the end is stuck down lightly. Next remove the four screws.
  6. Part of the slider can now be removed.
  7. Next remove the two rubber stoppers at the top of the phone to reveal two more screws. Remove the four screws.
  8. Remove the ribbon which is stuck to the black rectangle. It'll just peel back.
  9. Run your plastic tool all the way around the join of the front cover to unclip it.
  10. Lift the screen away from the phone at the point on the opposite side. The screen is stuck down lightly with double sided tape.
  11. You should now have the LCD removed.
  12. Turn the LCD screen over and remove all the green tape you see. You now need to detach a number or ribbons. The ribbon attaches like a plug and socket. All the other ribbons have a hinge which you need to flick up to release.
  13. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
Take care

How do you make my screen work? All the buttons work just not the screen buttons

Hello,

The reason your screen wont work is because there is a problem with the flexi ribbon that connects the screen to the panel of the phone.

To fix the screen, you would have to dismantle the phone and replace the flexi ribbon.

To disassemble your phone, you have to follow the process below;
  1. Get the appropriate screwdriver(Phillips screwdriver, plastic tool such as a guitar plectrum or credit card.),
  2. Remove your battery cover, your battery, your sim and your memory card,
  3. Remove the four screws you can see.
  4. Peel back the sticker. You may need something with a thin, sharp point to peel the sticker back (samsungmobile.com). Two rubber stoppers need to be levered out to reveal two more screws that must be removed.
  5. Run your plastic tool along the join of the battery compartment to separate the phone into two halves. Next you need to disconnect the ribbon. This attaches like a plug and socket. Simply lift the connector up, away from the circuit board to unplug it. Remove the screw by the left. You can now lift the green circuit board away from the phone. A little force is required.
  6. You should now have the circuit board removed. Note that a ribbon, will have disconnected when you removed the circuit board. Again, this attaches like a plug and socket.
  7. Remove the identification sticker. Remove the volume button which will be loose. The buttons underneath will be lightly stuck to the side of the phone and need to be peeled away. Lever off the grey part.
  8. Remove the four screws you have access to (one is under the ribbon cable).
  9. You should now be able to separate the phone into two parts. Two rubber stoppers need to be levered out to reveal two screws. Remove these plus the two others screws you see.
  10. Run your credit card around the join of the housing to release it. Once you have the two parts separated as far as shown below, pull in the upward direction (towards the camera).
  11. Pull the little metal bars in the direction of the camera.
  12. Lever out the camera, speaker and ringer. They'll be stuck down with double sided tape. Lever out the the screen. Slide your plastic tool under the green circuit board to release the LCD screen.
  13. You should now have the LCD screen removed,
  14. Turn the screen over. Remove the green tape at the top. Now release the circled ribbons. To do so, flick the black latches up and then pull each ribbon away.
  15. That is the ribbon that needs replacement.
  16. Reverse the process to reassemble the phone back together.
Take care

KEnmore front load washing machine pulled in a little bit of water and stopped, door locked and small buzzing/vibration sound. unplugged to reset - did not work, tried it again and it drained a little then...

there is something stuck or blocking the drain pump.
use a wet dry shop vac and attach it to the end of the drain hose to remove the water.
then remove the hoses from the drain pump and look for any obstructions.

sounds like you need a new ribbon cable 1st buy ribbon cable from ebay here are the instructions to change your ribbon cable remove battery/sim card undo 4scews tiny cross heads they are slide phone open ans at the bottom of the phone theres 2 more scews to undo these are under little plastic covers once removed starting from the bottom of the phone insert a thin wedge i use my fingernail just get it inbetween the bottom of the casing and slowly move it round the phone open the casing a little but not 2 faras you have 2 slide the casing off the tophalf of the phone once you detached the casing there will be a plug(loud speaker)just unplug this now you should be a stage where you have removed the back casing,we continue carefully prize out the main baord this will be attached to a ribbon cable so be careful remember to first remove the button and then run your fingernail where the buttons are affixed (there stuck to the casing) ok you have the main board free now turn it over so as you dont damage the cable remove the green sticker which covers the cable then you need a soldering iron to free the cable as its attached to the main board flip up the holding strip and remove the ribbon cable from the main board ok next there are another 6 tiny little screws which attach the sliding chassis remove them and remove the slidehousing ok now you need to undo 4 more screws 2 are in plain view the other 2 are hidden under the top plastic covers once they are removed the slide mech comes away freely and you can see where the the other end of the ribbon is attached again remove green sticker and desolder the pionts lift up plastic retainer and remove the ribbon replace with new ribbon and put back together the same way you undid it sound a bit tricky but its quite simple really. well i hope this helps mrjazon
