Husqvarna 266xp issues.

As the saw runs out of fuel the revs increase due to lean fuel mix, so would guess the saw is not hitting its 12500rpm at full revs, this is either a blocked air filter or the carb adjustment, the revs should be checked with a suitable tacho before leaning off the H screw on the carb, increasing the revs beyond 12500 could result in a cylinder seizure.

The 394XP does not have weel side plates, just a single steel protection plate for the bar pad, the oil pump is adjustable , there is a screw on the bottom of the pump, and an acsess hole up through the bottom of the crankcase.

Have a 137e husqavarna saw put new carb on and just fires and dies. Any help would be appreciated

Try when idle to adjust the carb settings. There has to be 2 screws to adjust the low and high. The low is for when the saw is in low at speed or when is not in use for cut. When you pull the handle to start cut then the adjust the high one at max speed.

If you need more help come back.Post / thumbs / testimonial are welcome!

On a husqavarna 362 xp special 71cc chainsaw very little oil is coming out to the chain i have removed the chain and bar and cleaned and still very little oil is making it to the chain what should i do ??

Check to see if there is an oil-volume adjustment screw located near the lower part of the chain where it goes into the cover, but mounted in the main case. It might be underneath the case in about the same location. Turn it CCW somewhat, if found, and check for oiling by holding the bar tip running at speed near some cardboard. If properly oiled, it will throw off a thin line of oil after several moments. If there is no adjustment, then you will have to investigate the oil pump, lines, and filter/valve in the oil tank. Make sure to clean the small oil passages in the drive end of the bar. Hope this helps!

Husqavarna rancher 55 repairs

R² Drive Link Outboard Clutch by
  1. Check the IPL for your saw to see if any special tools are needed. Poulan (Craftsman, Jonsered, Husky) clutch removal tool part number 530031112 if needed, is under $5 from many sources (look at the visible area between the weights if 2 small round sockets are visible you need the tool).
  2. There are metal piston stops available, when square (almost never) with the piston top these work well, if not square they have been known to punch through the piston.
• I suggest a length of nylon rope (nothing left behind) be used instead of the piston stop (retain 6" ± so you can remove it).
• Make certain the piston is near the top of the cylinder before feeding the cord or it can fall through the exhaust port and damage the piston as it rises.
  1. Everyone I have ever removed had a left handed thread (tighten it to loosen it).
If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.
Thank You for using FixYa.
