To clarify something you said, the accessories should go off when the key switch is in the start position.
Are you getting power to the coil and the computer when the key switch is on and in start ?

Rm 250 wont start off kick

Don't know if it is water cooled or not, but it sounds like you may have a problem with oil or water getting into the combustion chamber and fouling the spark plugs. Kicking doesn't produce the amount of rpm that you need to fire up a weakly firing plug. I'd check the plugs condition first and replace if needed, and then figure out why its smoking.

When trying start it won't turnover and oil is

Rings! Don't know if this is 2 cycle or 4 cycle engine. If it is a 4 cycle engine you shouldn't have crankcase oil on the spark plugs. If it doesn't turn over, how is oil getting on the spark plugs? At any rate,I'd check for cracked ring or rings.

2004 V star, starts right up but seems to run only on the rear cylinder at idle.. when you give it some throttle the front cylinder kicks in at about 1500/2000 rpm and bike runs good on the road.. Could it...

Start by replacing the the spark plug caps/covers that snap onto the the spark plugs. On most machines the spark plug caps simple unscrew off of the end of the spark plug wire. If the 5000 OHM resister burns out in one of the caps it will cause a weak spark in the effected cylinder at idle. You can purchase NGK brand spark plug caps (the same as OEM caps) for $5 to $7 each. You can test your caps with a voltage meter. Off the wire they should read 5000 OHM's no higher or lower. As for the possibility of dirt in the carburetor, unplug the fuel line from the carburetor and try a squirt of carburetor cleaning solution directly in the bowl of the carburetor. If you just have a small amount of jellied fuel causing the issue, this may take care of the problem.

My van had over heated, I let it cool down, started it again, and it would not idle correctly and I had no power. I put new spark plugs in, new wires, new distributor cap and new rotor, still no power to...

When engine cold, remove radiator gasket, fill with water and start the car with the radiator cap off, if the water is blowing out from the radiator, then you have a blown head gasket or bent head. If the water doesn't move inside the radiator if it's still then your head gasket and head are fine. I asume that you didn't move the distributor to change the rotor and cap so there is no chance to left the spark timing a little delayed. Remove the new spark plugs one by one and look for a sign of rust, that could mean that cylinder is getting water from the head. (Only if it didn't pass the radiator test).

The maytag skybox doesn't get cold anymore. we had it outside for a while (we didn't realize you couldn't have it outside) & it worked great all last summer. this spring, we realized it...

First you need to find out if the compressor is kicking on or not. If it isn't then it could be the starting capacitor (item 23), start relay (item 7) or the compressor itself. Since you had it outside I would suspect the capacitor or relay. http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Maytag-Parts/Refrigerator-Parts/Model-MBV1976AAB/3048/0168000/M0510224/00001

Does the skybox make noise (like your refrigerator starting a cycle)? If not, I would unplug it for a short while and let it set. Then when you plug it back up listen for noises on whether the compressor kicks on or not. If it doesn't then you can check the cap and relay board. Or have your compressor checked for operation and freon.

Doesn't sound like you've considered spark. Sounds like you're losing spark somehow. You seem to know your way around a truck, so I don't have to explain every little thing. Just check all the ignition stuff, go through the distributor and coil and plugs and wires. If it's gettin fuel, its either a spark issue or air/vaccum issue. Hope this helps.

My Susiki dies sometimes when I make a stop or slow dow suddently. Whats the problem?

Hello
I would start with the easy less expensive stuff first.
Check/Replace your spark plugs. Carbon fouled, sooty plugs don't like to idle.
Clean/Change your airfilter. Dirty air filters choke the motor. choked motors either stall or rev high.
Carburetor idle screw needs set.
that is adjusted after the bike is warmed up to operating temperature, then set idle.
If that doesn't have you cleared up then you'll need to have your carbs cleaned.

Have a great weekend

My yamaha raptor has power, spark, fuel and will turn over, but won't start.

Check the compression, pull the spark plugs one at a time if more then one. If you don't have a compression gauge, you can put your figure over the spark plug hole, be mindful that before it blows it's going to **** so make sure that you don't hurt yourself leave a little gap so your figure doesn't suction down to tight. If your getting compression it should **** and blow pretty hard. If it seems to have good pressure and suction. You might need to check your timing, also make sure that you can feel air moving out the exhaust, might not be able to with the pipes on it but if it won't start and your getting everything else it needs to run gas, spark, etc. It has to almost be timing or compression.
