Epson workforce645 wont scan says the computer is busy try again later

If I'm getting this right, your printer says "Device is busy, Try again later" when you try to Scan to Email ? Make sure your Scan to email-configuration is set up correct. Still no luck ? Leave the printer without power for 30 min. You can also try a factory reset. If nothing help, check if your printer is still under warranty HERE. If still warranty call your local HP support and ask for service.

The Epson 3490 is a flatbed scanner that has an optional business card/4x6 photo auto feeder. Do you have the optional feeder attached & plugged into the correct connecter on the back of the scanner? As of 2013, Spy Sweeper has been discontinued and replaced with Webroot SecureAnywhere. No protection definitions are provided for SpySweeper anymore and it should not be used.

Hi, it could be a software issue.Try uninstalling and then reinstall the software again.
Another thing you can do is download a new version from epson website. They usually have fixxes for it in the software. Look for your printer model when downloading for this. Good luck.

there might have been a conflict during installation.... my suggestion is to try to uninstall the driver unplug the cable connecting the printer to the computer. install again and follow the process wizard. note: you can leave the scanner program or epson scan. you dont need to uninstall epson scan.

Try scanning from computer

The first thing to try is uninstall the Epson Scan. Via either the start
menu item if one exits or from the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs.

Reboot computer.

Install the latest driver from the epson web site -

Latest is 2.68A for WindowsXP, etc.
You should go ahead and download a fresh copy from the web, your copy may be
corrupted.

After the install, reboot.

If that does not solve the problem.
You got to go deeper.

Remove the Epson scan. (again).

Backup your registry.
Edit the registry and remove all references to the Epson Scan.
Remove the folders and entries for Epson Scan in \Windows\Twain_32\

Reboot:
Install Epson scan.

Try a different copy of OS or in a Different M/C.

1st analysis: your os is infected by a virus, try re-install your os again in slow/normal formatting mode, but save your important files in other drive, to be scanned later by an updated anti-virus software.
2nd; try to open u'r laptop find the location of RAM card/s its a black(with memory chips attached) to it unplug it from its socket (if it has 2 RAM cards do it to both) them plug/insert it in again, static charge must have been build up on these devices that affects some OS component such as dll (direct link library programs). hope this tips help... ;-) good day
