it could be 1 of 3 things here 1 the coupling under the plate mat be warn or broken inside so the shaft of the motor maybe turning but not turning the plate take the plate out and put a cup of water in the unit and see if coupling moves without the plate if not thn see if you can remove the coupling and repeat the test if you can see the motor shaft moving thn u need a new coupling, if not thn you may need a new motor to test th motor you will need to turn the unit on it side remove the plate first on the underside on the unit round where motor is you will see a plate this will round or square you need to cut this away to expose the motor dont throw it away as you need to refit if after, it turns round and you screw it back on, when you have found the motor remove and replace it albeit the motor is powered by the pcb it is unlikely to be the pcb as the motor runs all the time so they do ware out also do look to see if your unit has a turn table switch off button on the controls or in the manual hope this helps and dont forget to unplug ur unit from the mains.
