Remote Controls setting allows you to control your lost or stolen device remotely, but to use that feature you must sign in to your Samsung account (see the manual). You can always do a Factory data reset, but that will lose ant data you have stored on the device. I suggest you download and save/read the PDF manual at... http://www.boeboer.com/samsung-galaxy-fame-gt-s6810p-user-manual-guide/
Phones have become small, simple computers. In order for the phone to access the camera, it must first launch software to use the camera. This software is known as a driver. It is not uncommon for phones and computers to misplace or lose drivers.
Sometimes, the solution can be as simple as turning your phone off and turing it back on.
If this does not work, you may need to reset your phone to factory settings, which means that you will lose all data stored on the phone. It is important to back up all contacts and other information you do not want to lose before reseting your phone. The exact instruction for how to do a factory reset can be found in your user's manual.
Try holding the Power Button and Volume Up buttons for approximately 10 seconds. If the device still doesn't display anything, you have a really serious issue. If you see the Samsung logo appear, release the power button but still hold the Volume button. This should boot into recovery mode after which you can release the volume button. Now, you can perform a hard reset (returning the device to factory settings) by following the steps below:
Navigate the menu with the volume up/down buttons until you have wipe data/factory reset selected
Press the home button to confirm the selection
Press Volume Up to continue
Leave the Tab to go through the reset procedure.
WARNING: This will completely reset your device to the state it came out of the factory in. You will lose all data, settings and installed apps. Proceed with caution and at your own risk.
