Hi - I haven't used my wireless microphone in about  a year. Now it isn't picking up any sound - I changed batteries several times - and I checked the camera with another mike -- I am using the Sony PD 170. any suggestions?

Less than a year my church purchased wireless microphones suddenly not working there is no sound coming out of microphones. HELP!!

What does the receiver go into ?
a pre amp mixer ?
What are the volume levels set at on the mixer for the receiver input ?
Also check if the pre amp goes into another amplifier that the volume setting on the final amplifier device if used have not been turned down.

Microphone not working windows 7

Check the microphone is not muted (this is the default to stop feedback).
Use the start button, then pick control panel.
Pick sound icon and you should see a tab at the top for recording.
Select the tab and you should see a microphone icon, if not your microphone does not exist, and you have to install it under devices.
Assuing it is, select the microphone and windows will give you options to set up your microphone.

Do you carry instruction manuals for the Sony (UTX-B1) and the (URX-P1) wireless mic system

FixYa.com doesn't "carry" any manuals, but you can download the one that you're looking for here:

Just stopped working...new batteries...checked channels..

with all the changes of the FCC frequencies that are available to consumers now, I would call the manufacturer to see if they are crossed with the new first responders added airspace.

IT DOES NOT WORK ECM-MS907 Professional...

Just in case you have having the same problem as me....

The reason why my microphone was giving mixed results was because I was using the wrong setting. The microphone slider says "90 degrees" and "120 degrees." I assumed that these angles refered to the area that the microphone picked up. So for a single narrow sound source, like my voice, the narrower, 90 degrees setting seemed appropriate.

Now that I have looked at the manual I see it is the reverse (weird but true. Perhaps the angles refer to the angles that the microphone ignores completely under each setting?).

I have been recording my voice. I noticed that sometimes the sound was good and other times the sound level was too low. I think that the reason is because sometimes I inadvertantly set the microphone to the 120 degree setting, which picks up my voice well, while at other times I set the mic to the 90 degree setting which attempts to pick up sound from a wider area, giving the central source less prominence.Setting the microphone to the 120 degree setting cured my problem. I hope it cures your problem too.

The manual is here:
