SOURCE: "Test" displays no washing done!

Your test mode is on, maybe accidently. Press "start", "cancel", "on" & "off" together for 10 secs, you will see d/off come on the display. Do the same & the test mode comes on again.

SOURCE: Indesit WIDL 106 wont start -ON/OFF-Door Led Flashes rapidly

It is a defectiv controller pcb. I think the eeprom on the controller pcb lost its program (happens often on Indesit machines).

The only solution I know is to change the controller pcb, - not a cheap solution.
I have the same problem with WIDL 106.

Siemens IQ 700 Washing machine display is not working

If the display on your Siemens IQ 700 washing machine is not functioning but the machine continues to function normally, there may be an issue with the display module or the connections between the module and the machine's main control board. Here are some potential solutions to the problem:

  1. Verify the power source: Ensure that the washing machine is correctly plugged into the power socket and that the outlet is operational. Try plugging in a separate appliance to test the outlet's functionality.
  2. Reset the machine: Attempt to reset the washing machine by unplugging it for a few minutes and then plugging it back in. This could perhaps reset the control board and resolve the display issue.
  3. Switch off the electricity to the washing machine and disconnect it from the electrical outlet. Remove the machine's rear panel to gain access to the display module and primary control board. Ensure that the connections between the two modules are secure by examining them. Attempt to clean any loose or corroded connections using a dry cloth or a tiny brush.
  4. If the connections are secure and there are no apparent signs of damage, it may be necessary to replace the display module. To replace the module, contact a Siemens service center or a skilled technician.
  5. If the display module is not the issue, it may be necessary to replace the main control board. This component is responsible for regulating all washing machine functions, including the display. The control board must be replaced if it is defective. To replace the control board, contact a Siemens service facility or a skilled technician.
When servicing a washing machine, it is essential to observe all safety precautions. If you are uncertain or uncomfortable with any of these processes, you should call a skilled technician or service center for assistance.

My siemens WD1252 doesn't change from wash to rinse

Hallo,
I have the same problem since yesterday. I've seen that probably it doesn't warm up the water. If I change washing temperature to "cold" everything works normally. I think that heater is broken.
Have You resolved your problem? Have You called service?

Best regards.

The digital display is showing a KEY symbol flashing, and i can't program a new load. What does this mean?

This is the childproof lock symbol and prevents you from changing a program once it has been selected The symbol flashes if the program is changed during a wash cycle. If the machine is switched off mid cycle with the lock on then it will continue the program as so as the machine is switched back on. To activate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds and the key is displayed. To deactivate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds until the key symbol disappears.

Cant use dryer

Hi Haziel,

Is it that you want to dry only or wash 'n' dry straight through in one go?

If it's to dry only...

1. Switch the machine on
2. Press the Auto Dry or Timed Dry button until the neon light illuminates.
3. For Auto Dry press the button for 2 seconds to achieve the neon indicator to light up. then press the button until the glow is beside the level of drying you require.
4. For Timed Dry press the button until the time you require is in the display.
5. Press the Start/Pause key to start the cycle

Please note: in the Timed dry any time above 60 minutes will be displayed as 70, 75, 80, 85 etc. but then will be shown as 1:10, 1:15, 1:20, 1:25.

For wash 'n' dry straight through...

1. Switch the machine on.
2. Select the fabric.
3. Change the temperature or spin speed if necessary.
4. Select any extra options if required.
5. Follow the above to achieve the drying accompanied by the wash.
6. Then press the Start/Pause button to get the cycle under way.

There is a downloadable PDF of the user manual for this machine on the Service Force website, if you require the programming sequence guide, which, is covered in the user manual, should this explanation prove unhelpful.

I hope this does help you
