Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: NO RED
as a cable tech I have seen this before, you either have the cables from the sourse plugged into the wrong color or the cable is bad itself. get a new cable, you can check the tv by connecting a DVD player to it, if the color is fine on that then you know you might have a connection problem. if its bad on the DVD, then you may have a tv problem. Most TV's have more than one RGB input, try changing inputs, and double check to make sure the red line is in, If you are using an HDMI cable then all you can do is call a good tv repair man and hope your waranty is stil valid.

SOURCE: Vizio LCD Green Pixels
Our Vizio started doing the same thing after only three weeks, except it was also showing green pixel when we watched DVDs. After checking this site and others and trying all the "tweaking" advised, I finally called Vizio's customer support. They were extremely polite and tried to help over the phone, but had to send someone to the house to make the repair (anything 40 inches or larger earns a house call). The tech arrived on time and was extremely professional and pleasant -- he had to replace the daughter board and LVDS cables. So far, so good.

The T'con board [Timing Control Board] of your TV has damaged.
The board will look like this. Will be in a shelded case which you can open it by unscrewing it, and can take out the board. Replacing it is a semi-skilled job indeed. You can buy this board from most of the electronic spare part shops at your town, or from the authorised service center for Vizio at your town. Never use a refurbished bord in place, as it may make damage to other boards. If you want its service manual, not user manual, you have to buy one amoung my pro service from Fixya. I can't send it to you directly as it is against our expert terms. If you wish to get the service manaul, get me either by Fixya Pro services, or just type my nickname "gopakumarg43" in Google search box; where you can see my services, and get me. OK.
