Question about Clarke Power Products Clarke 10 Gal. Abrasive Blaster Tank With Automatic Shut Off Valve

1 Answer

Sandblasting Model SB9010A The nozzles that came with the unit have a very small diameter; everytime I try to use the unit with a larger media, the unit immediately plugs up. The store where the unit was purchased does not stock any larger bore nozzles. How can I obtain nozzles that will work with the larger media?

Suggest that you carefully drill out the nozzle to suit your new material size. sand for sand blasting has to be total dry or it will cause blockages

Sanblaster gravity feed bad media flow

Check that the new gun is compatable with the media you're using in your sandblaster. If you just replaced an old gun with the same kind you should be OK. Check that there aren't any peices of "stuff" in the line to the gun or where the line enters the sand. Next, make sure you are using dried air. Compressing air causes the water (humidity) to condense out and pool in the tank. This water then makes its way through your air lines and to your gun. If the air isn't dried by a filter somehwere on the line the moisture will mix with the sand and make it flow like you describe.

I HAVE A RYOBI VAC/BLOWER MODEL RGBV3100 THE FUEL LINES NEED REPLACING THEY ROTTED OFF NEED TO KNOW WHICH WAY TO ROUTE FROM PRIMER BUTTON TO CARB

The small diameter line out of fuel tank (has filter in-tank on end) connects directly to the side of the carburetor that has the fuel pump....that is the cover without the hole in it. Other larger diameter fuel line out of tank connects to the longer nipple on the external purge/primer bulb. The bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to the carb and then out of the carb to itself, where it then "pushes" any air/old fuel back into the fuel tank. The remaining larger diameter fuel line in this setup goes from the metering chamber (has cover with writing on it and a vent-hole) side of the carburetor to the smaller nipple on the purge/primer bulb. Again, on the primer bulb, the longer nipple has a line going directly from it to the tank. This is the return line. The shorter nipple on the bub has a line from it going to the metering chamber side of the carb. If the purge/primer bulb is on top of the carb...small line from carb body to small hole in tank with filter. Larger diameter line goes from the bulb on the fuel pump side of the carb to the larger hole in the fuel tank where sometimes the line is held in place with a nylon nipple connector that keeps the line from pulling out of the tank. Otherwise, the line should enter the tank for about 1/2" or so

Gas edger Model 358.773100 the fuel lines were cut. looking for diagram to repair

They don't really have fuel line routing diagrams available. This is even true on the Sears website. What they do have is the machine breakdown diagrams with all the parts listed and pricing for all available parts. I can give you fuel line instructions for a 32cc trimmer. I see that your model is a 24cc 2-stroke engine. This may point you in the right direction.

Troy bilt gas trimmer gas lines broke and now I'm not sure which lines go where.

The gas lines probably broke because of the ethanol-laced gasoline we have to use nowadays. It deteriorates them. If the unit has the external purge/primer bulb, the way mine did, it is not that hard. Just remember...the primer bulb "pulls" fresh fuel from the fuel tank to and thru the carb, thus pushing out any air/old fuel in the metering chamber of the carb back to the fuel tank in the return line...that said..
Fuel tank...2 lines...smaller diameter line goes directly to the carb body. There are probably 2 brass nipples on the carb. This line goes to the one on the body opposite the end of the carb with the vent-hole in the cover. This is the fuel pump end...where fresh gas enters the carb.
The larger line out of the fuel tank connects to the longer nipple on the purge/primer bulb. This is the fuel return line.
The remaining fuel line (larger diameter) goes from the vented-cover (has writing on it) end of the carb to the shorter nipple on the purge/primer bulb. This line carrys air and old fuel OUT of the carb to the bulb where it is then PUSHED back to the fuel tank via the return line...so you have a small diameter supply line to carb...an intermediate larger diameter line from the carb to the bulb and finally the larger diameter return line from the bulb BACK to the fuel tank.
Go to a small engine shop and purchase about a foot each of the 2 different diameter fuel lines needed and install those new "Tygon" fuel lines as your fuel line replacement.

My sandblast gun only outputs in spurts

Too much moisture in the air or wrong blasting media. Not enough pressure

No Sand or Air is coming out when trigger is pulled

The sandblaster relies on a clear and unkinked line from the sand tank to '**** up' the sand and drive it out the nozzle with the air flow.

-Do you have air pressure at the nozzle? It may be obvious, but you need good air pressure. Pulling the trigger, you should get air out of the nozzle. If you don't, start with the air compressor.

-The sand needs to be dry and unclogged. Dump all the sand out of the container, and pour it back in through the filter screen.

Dacor pgm 365 lp to naural gas

Yes by a licensed person so as not to break any local laws or Kill You,
LPg typically delivers at a higher psi than natural gas, and the propane content requires more combustion air than the methane butane mix of natural gas,
methane CH4 needs 2 oxygen (O2) to make CO2 +2 H20
Propane C4H10 needs 7.5 (02) 4 CO2 5 H2O
the nozzle injecting the LPg has small diameter, The Gas certified plumber can remove the nozzle(s) and replace them with larger diameter Natural gas ones for a small price, most manufacturers make both, its a simple job
Cant stress - Gas Certified plumber/tradesman - strongly enough, one explosion will ruin your whole day
