What is the battery number for a fossil am3848

We can tell you the battery number you may need for your Fossil Watch, but it is not worth you to change it yourself.
Many people think that replacing a battery to a watch is an easy task, but that is far from truth.
Note that once a watch is opened ( if you can get it without leaving marks all around the case) all circuits are extremely delicate. If you may touch some part with any metal instrument or even with your fingers, you will loose your watch.

Best you can do is take it to be replaced to a watch shop, sure you have one near you.

But let me insist, if you need the battery number, let us know and we will provide. is Fossil authorized dealer, you can find our complete Fossil watches and Straps for Fossil watches here:

I have a am3998 fossil watch that has stopped working , found out it wasnt the battery, I need help I love this watch

Okay, there could be multiple things wrong. You will most likely need a new movment (motor) or you will need to have it serviced in which a watch maker will take the watch apart and oil and adjust all of the wheels and gears. What you could do is send the watch into fossil, they have like a lifetime warranty or 13 years or something like that.

Fossil Watch Style #JR9642:The display is black, not working and the battery is fine.

There is a reset process for these models. You must short certain contacts to reset the LCD. See your local Certified Master Horologist for help doing this, as shorting the wrong contacts can permanently damage the movement.

Otherwise, if this watch is in warranty, Fossil will generally replace the watch free of charge. I would recommend calling them at 1-800-842-8621.

Even if you cannot find the receipt, they may still replace it based on its age, which is reflected in the serial number.

I hope this helps!

Trying to set date on fossil watch #691464401344

The number you quoted does not look like a modl number (usually in the form AA NNNNN).

If you go to , you will find some instructions. Choose the one that fits your watch and download the instructions.
