How to enter in bios in my wespro n720

Boot the computer.
Just the bottom of the screen when the Wespro logo comes up.
Look for - enter BIOS Setup - and the key after it.

Memorize the logo.
Turn off the computer.
Wait at least 30 second.
Turn it on.
Press the memorized button frequently.
Then it should show up the bios function.

Thanks.

Dell Precision 530 with dual Xeon CPUs. Uses Rambus memory. (4) 256mb ECC modules are installed. It should be a total of 1 gb. However, BIOS only shows 256mb total even though it shows all 4 rambus...

It sounds like like you have multiple issues. When all memory slots are filled with 256 sticks the computer boots but only sees 256 MB instead of 1 gig.
When you install the Crimms it won't boot at all.
You may have an open circuit on one of the Crimms.
As for the computer seeing only 256 MB you may have a bad memory slot on the motherboard.
Here's a link regarding Direct Rambus DRAM or DRDRAM (sometimes just called Rambus DRAM or RDRAM: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RDRAM

Hi sir i have asus p5 nmx having nvidia geforce 7050/nforce610i integrated graphic .it shows 390 mb total graphic memory in win 7with 1 gb ram .where it shows 780 mb useable ram .here i have chosen 256 mb...

512 for 2gb and 780for 4gb

in intergrated gpu,s the memory is borrowed from the main system memory however the actual intergrated gpu has some of its own memory, but this is normally only small such as 64mb or 128mb however it can borrow memory from the main system memory, something thats known as s.m.a(shared memory architecture)
there are also some dedicated graphic cards that borrow memory from the main system memory, these are known as "turbocache" with nvidia based cards and "hypermemory" with ati radeon based cards, however these cards are very rarely used now as they were not that efficent and in windows vista they score very low performance baseline scores

Change ram from 512 to 1 gig bios cannot read added ram

The original 2 sticks of 256 Mb of RAM gives you a total of 512
Mb of RAM. Two 512 Mb of RAM gives you a total of 1 Gb of RAM.
With two sticks of 512 Mb of RAM are you sure you got a total of 192 Mb of RAM, this is a lot less than the original RAM total of 512 Mb?
Should this be 1920 Mb of RAM?
If this 192 Mb is correct then the RAM modules are either not compatible with the laptop or if the RAM modules are not from the same manufacturer then they may not work together.

Most laptops have video cards that use part of the main RAM for video RAM, that is why the available RAM is less than the installed RAM modules. The amount of RAM the video card grabs depends upon the type of video card and in some cases the amount of video RAM can controlled in the BIOS setting.

Acer Extensa 5620Z will not work with more than 2GB RAM??

parrotheadpc is incorrect in stating "you can only have a total of 2048 mb installed".

the 5620Z accepts 2 x 2 GB SODIMM RAM, the machine boots and shows the full 4 GB in the BIOS.

the full 4 GB works with the Ubuntu x64 installer.

Windows XP x32 goes BSOD on startup.

Windows 7 x64 install from DVD fails with same BSOD error.

conclusion: this is a Windows-Extensa 5620Z incompatibility that would require a fix by ACER at the BIOS level.

question: there may be specific memory modules 2 x 2 GB which do work--anyone have it work with Windows?

Burn errors cant get drive to write

It looks like from error codes that yoi may have a hardware error, or a disk format problem, if this is only burning problem you have on pc and it worked before, then uninstall and reinstall Nero, info gathered from here,
http://www.isobuster.com/help.php?help=305
sense code 5 ASC 2c= 5 / 2C / 00 COMMAND SEQUENCE ERROR
5ASC2700=5 / 27 / 00 WRITE PROTECTED
Please give good rating if this helps you or points you in right direction, thanks
