I ONLY HAVE A/C AIR coming from the defrost vents

if you are trying to see if the heater and the defroster works, and only the air conditioner works I would check to see if you have a blown heater blower motor. it might be a fuse but could be more.

Freezer works but not blowing cold air in the fridge

If your refrigerator freezer compartment is cold, but the refrigerator compartment is warm--It could be a defrost problem. When a defrost problem occurs, it is usually the fault of one or more of three basic parts: defrost timer/adaptive defrost control, freezer thermostat or the defrost heater element. See in detail how to dx and fix: Refrigerator Defrost Parts .

Jeep liberty heater/defrost

check the actuator motor or motors on the heater. It is inside on the base of the heater and directs the air where you want.

Freezer is working and slightly over freezing, but fridge is not working

check air flow. if fan not running replace fan if running but lots of frost on back wall then its a defrost problem (when it doesnt defrost ice builds up blocking air flow to refrig side.) try forcing into defrost if it has timer or ck bimetal (bi metal most common) (on ge fan not common but def heater is). post model for more help

My freezer keeps melting andre freezing. usually it is ocurring over night. when i get up in am everything is melted and blowing 29 degree air by 1 pm its blowing -11 degree air and refreezing. Response:...

Manually turning the defrost timer will not tell you if the timer is working, it only tells you the switching inside works, The defrost timer has a motor inside that turns it through it's cycles, this would be the part of the defrost timer that stops working.

But since the unit is freezing and thawing, The problem is more likely the defrost thermostat has came loose or is defective.

Defrost cycle is to allow frosy or ice to melt down and not restrict the output air. The thermostat is set too low and in high humidity ice forms quickly restricting the air flow. tur up the thermostat and let the room cool gradually.

Defrost blows cold air

Sounds like you have a plenum door that is not opening when you go into defrost mode. You will have to check all your vacuum hoses and switching valves under the dash to see which one is not working. Hope this helps.
