You have to make a new profile on the ps3 itself to be able to set up your own account.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Toshiba Satallite c660 does not recgonise my profile or password

Hi

If you have forgotten your password then you will not have access to your profile as thay are linked.

You can get round this if you have an administrator account configured log on with this make a new user profile, log out of admin log on to your new user account to set up a new profile, log out and back on as admin, you should then have access to all the profiles in the use folder you can then copy documents from the old profile to the new one. log back on with the new password and user name combo and you should have all your stuff back

Cant down load the new update

I fixed mine by going into System Settings, Network settings, then running a test on xbox live. Initiating the test logs your profile out then runs a network test. The test completed with no problems and then asked me if I wanted to update again. Without logging back into my profile I clicked OK and the update ran without a hitch. I think the solution lies in the fact that my profile was logged out and from what I have seen, the only way to connect to xbox live without a profile being logged in is with a network test. Once you connect to xbox live it senses that you don't have the update and asks you again, this time without a profile logged in and you are able to do it.

I need help erasing my psn account and i dont know where to make a new one i tried to make one on the PlayStation Network website and i tried to log on the ps3 with that new account it wont let me so i...

First, try deleting the user profile associated with that PSN account.

Log in as the profile you want to delete, then go all the way to the left in the XMB to profiles. Scroll down to the user you want removed and press the triangle button. It'll give you a list of things, which includes "delete."

Regards.

I can log in to yahoo messenger but just i get ready to send a message to my friend yahoo closes, i have tried to uninstall and reinstall and its still doing the same thing

Your profile might be having problems. Create a new user from control panel - user accounts. Give it administrative rights. Then log in as that user or profile however you call it.Log into yahoo messenger. It should work.

But do note that once you log in as the new user or use that profile you will not have the same desktop or browser settings etc.

I bought a used PS3 and it still has the other guys ID saved in it. How do I get it to accept my ID and PW?

simple, log off of his ID, and put yours in. That should be in the left most menu of the XMB.
