Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
I have a Whirlpool Duet WFW94HEXW1 Front Load Washer, I am getting an error code of F8E2. The service manual identifies this as a "Dispenser System Error". I have followed the tech procedures, checking the motor for correct OHM's and did a quick diagnostic test. Test Phase C00-C02 worked fine. On C03 the washer seems to get hung up. The motor continues to rotate the dispensing actuator. It makes a slight clicking sound but never stops. I have noticed the washer does not fill with water except if I run the quick diagnostic Test CO2. I cleaned out the drain pump filter and checked the drain hose for obstructions. Any further recommendation as to what to test?

check the holes of the dispenser, could be clogged with soap and liquid detergent. check the hose where the dispenser flows to the drum, it could be clogged also. open the door, trace the dispenser hose that is attached to the drum or to the big rubber gasket at the front. check and see if there is dirt accumulation or soap clogging the hole.

Unplug the machine. Unscrew the 3 screws under the front edge of the washer. The service technician manual is attached to the panel that slides down and off. Find F21 code. See suggested procedures. Note: My drain pump filter had a baby wash cloth in it along with some change that was disrupting the flow. It is exceptionally easy to remove, clean, and reinstall. Just line up installation notches when reinstalling. Whirlpool should have mentioned this filter in the User & Care Guide, but I could not find it anywhere in there.

SOURCE: F02 error code
you need to take the kick panel off of the front of the washer the filter is in the front middle untwist you will probably see a bunch of lint and socks if you have kids. LOTS OF WATER WILL COME OUT...BE PREPARED!
