You going to have to purchase a new proximity sensor. Look on or Relatively inexpensive fix, but very difficult for someone who doesn't know what they are doing. The lock button can become unresponsive after so many clicks, it just gets worn out and loses its bounce. I'd advise taking it to a certified tech

How do you remove the battery from the hotspot elevate 4g?

Here are the steps you need to remove the battery from the Sierra Wireless Elevate 4G.

1. Remove the back cover.
A). To remove back cover, turn the Elevate 4G over.
B). Pressing down on the 4 bars on the left & right hand sides of the device cover push down and away from the power button.
2. With the back cover removed, turn the Elevate 4G so the power button is facing towards you with the battery side visible and facing up.
3. Press along the long edge of the battery, if you do not have finger nails, this will be more difficult. But press the battery towards the 4 gold receptors (towards the power button or press towards you) while lifting up up on the battery. This will release the edge of the battery that is opposite the power button.
4. Once the far edge of the battery has been lifted, slide it away from the 4 gold connectors and the battery will be free.

The ringer shuts off by itself

Dump the phone. I have had the HTC EVO 4G and it was a nightmare. Screen broke without a drop, screen kept freezing and everything else that could go wrong did go wrong. I had had enough and chucked it on the freeway one day and went with an iphone. EVO is a first attempt by HTC to come up with a competitor to the iphone. Good luck

IPhone Smartphone: dropped my iphone into water, it was still on then...

Do a hard reset (menu and power button together for 5sec). If that doesn't work your should take it to the apple store. If they won't help you, keep the iPHone in a warm spot near a radiator for up to a week. You can try to open the iPhone yourself to let the water evaporate faster and clean corrosion. There is an iPhone 4G Repair service that can dot it for you, but if you're a little tech savy you should use an iPhone 4G repair guide that teaches you how to open the phone yourself.

How do you turn on self timer on a konica dimage z6

Okay - I felt like an idiot but the instruction manual sucks for this!!!!!! Press the menu button and stay on the first screen - Drive mode will probably say single and have image information listed under it. Use the down button and highlight drive mode - press the right button and it will change to single and under that it will say self-timer. Now use the down button and highlist self - timer and press the enter button. Now you use the self-timer. Once you take a picture, the camera will revert back to single image, it will not stay in self-timer mode, so you have to go this process everytime to use self timer. Hope this helps and happy picture taking!!!!!!!!!!
