Loading more photos than 1053 TDPF-100a

I have a Telefunken Digital Photo Frame and have loaded approx. 2800 photos on a Usb and the same on SD card but when starting it only shows 1053 photo and no more. User manual does not say how to load more or how to use the file menu to increase it

Then the max number you will ever see on there ids what you get. If the frame works correctly, without any glitches or other problems besides this, and if it has never read anay more than that, then it is probably working as designed, and it is merely a limitation of the device. I wouldn't worry about it. To get more, is to mean buying a new Photoframe.

The maximum SD card size supported may be 4GB, depending on the version of the product you have. You did not tell us what size of an SD card you are using. it can be difficult to help without more details.

How much room does that many photos use? I need to know the total size in MB or KB to help much more. The number of photos can vary in size, because all the photos are not the same size. try copying off the photos you have on it, format it, and then put different photos on it, to see if it will display those. It may be that the frame will only support so much total size, and that the number of photos won't matter.

  • Andre Smuts Jul 22, 2013

I have checked and the total size for 1369 photos is +/- 170 mb on the 2 Gb Usb

  • Andre Smuts Jul 22, 2013

it still only sees 1041 photos and 12 music files total 1053

    If you used a 1GB card or smaller that might explain it. Some devices do not handle larger sizes well, as they were built with certain limitations. Sometimes to keep cost low, sometimes because the larger memory sizes did not yet exist. Are all of the photos that same kind? It may be that it will only display one or two kinds of photo type, such as a jpeg or gif . This may be an issue. I can find very little in the way of support for your device. even the pages I can find, do not list that model. Here is the best link I have found and it has many different products listed;

Try removing the music files, and see if that has anefefct.. if this frame has received any electrical interference, it may have internal issues.

Do you have Mobile Phone Tool install on your PC?

Could you able to access any data of Motorola V220 to computer, if not, then It may be some driver conflict:

SOURCE: I have installed the disk

I found a manual here for your device.
I can see the error message you mention in the manual and it says this will occur when the device is not connected properly. I agree with you it is a badly worded error message.

Have you tried a differrent USB cable or perhaps a different usb port
or even a different pc? (and not vista)

Don'f forget you must install the software before you connect the device.
I'm not sure what the other experts are suggesting (we can't see them) but I think somone else has sugested how to remove the generic drivers if you accidentaly connect the device before you install the software.

Hope this helps. Don't wack it with a hammer yet :)

SOURCE: how do i download photos from pc to digital photo

1. Connect the digital photo frame to an available USB port on the PC. Turn on the PC and the digital photo frame. Connect one end of the USB cable to the USB port on the digital photo frame (this end is usually smaller) and connect the other end to the USB port on the PC itself.

2. Wait for the PC to automatically detect the USB-connected digital photo frame.

3. Move any photo files that you want to display on the digital photo frame. Do so by copying and pasting each file into the connected USB device that you can view in "my computer". Many photo frames have built-in memory for this feature.

SOURCE: problem loading software for digital

Why does it need software? Surely the mac sees it as a mass storage device and you drag and drop photos onto it.? The only thing you may need the software for is to resize the photos to the correct size for the keychain, and you can do that on Leopard in the tools menu or in iphoto.

Since you don't state what the software is or what mac you have it is impossible to help you further

I hope I have been of help.

Just try making an extra folder. Name it like the folder already on the card, but add a 2 or a a.
Please backup your pictures to another device, because if you keep all your pictures on one card. If something happens with the care and or camera, you can loos all your pictures.
Please before trying to add a folder

If the photo frame has a slot for an SD card, you can drag and drop the images you want to the card and then insert it into the frame. Connecting the card to the computer can be accomplished by using a card reader or, if the computer has a built-in SD slot, just insert the card.

Trutech digital photo frame

Most digital photo frames do not have internal memory and require external media to be plugged in permanently. Only the expensive ones have there own memory and usually not a lot.

Get an SD card and move your photos to it, that way you won't need to have the USB drive sticking out of the frame. That's if the frame has an SD slot.
