Unable to e-mail pictures. does not recognize server

If it doesn't recognize the server it isn't a problem with the computer, its most likely the program you use to send and receive e-mails (errors like these are commonly found in Outlook and Outlook Express). Thunderbird is a very good software to use for e-mailing, it has import tools to help you bring your emails, address books, and settings from your older email program to Thunderbird.

A password has locked me out of my access to my

no easy way to crack the password. More likely your outlook account has corrupted. This often happened between office 2007 and vista.
In outlook, you can delete the account in settings, and open a new account and simply import the .pst to the new account. Before deleting, take a copy of the .pst (for safety)
You can download thunderbird (from mozilla) which will read your outlook .pst without asking for your password.

Outlook could not connect to the incoming POP3 mailserver. outlook could not connect to the outgoing mail server.

At what Service? Every service has it's own protocols. If you try to connect to Hotmail you need a patch that is only available for some versions of outlook. Other versions can not connect to Hotmail service at all. It has to do with the way Hotmail works in it's newest version.

How do I set up an e-mail account on my computer?

    it depends..

you can set up an email account with yahoo, gmail, hotmail and tons of other email providers for free, that's something you gotta do first by going into or or

then if you want to set up your account on an email client like outlook or thunderbird or incredimail, you need to follow a specif procedure..

note. if you're getting a email account with yahoo, you may have to pay extra to set up that account with outlook. I suggest you stick with hotmail and gmail which should allow you to do it for free.

post back with details of what you want to accomplish and provide details of what email client you are using and we'll point out a process for you to follow.

Make sure that you are actually opening up the email, and not just previewing it in the reading pane.

Double click on the actual email to be sure it's open.

    Outlook express6

if you are trying to send an email from an old isp mail account, using a different isp email connection; you have to change the mail.smtp settings, for the settings you will need to refer to your isp. If you are trying to send an email using a hotmail account, this can no longer be done as hotmail no longer allow the use of outlook express with their accounts
