1.Take out charging wires.
2.turn off your heli and insert charging socket into your heli's socket.
3.the charging green light will light up while charging.
4.charging complete, the green light will turn off.
5.pull out the wires and you are ready to fly. Let the heli's battery cool down for approx. 15 minutes before charging.
The steering control only makes the copter rotate.
But if the heli is properly balanced a right turn should get you some forward motion. A left turn should just make it spin back to the left.
Adding weight to the front of the copter will give it continuous forward motion. Then you will lose the ability to hover.
If you visit the Air Hogs website (www.airhogs.com), select "need help" and then Havoc Heli, then crash course, the video will show you how it works.
I also find that climbing makes the heli spin left and descending makes it spin right. So full right for initial startup, then a little right when climbing, and a little left when descending helps to smooth things out.
Keep in mind that this is a very small and cheap helicopter. It took me a while to get used to flying in circles to the right but with practice I have been able to get it to go somewhat where I want it to. I can take off and land from the coffee table without crashing.
the cause of this issue is hair or something preventing the tail rotor to spin properly.. i had this issue and checked mine over very good, noticed the hair in tail rotor, and then took a needle to fish IT ALL out.. if u dont get it all.. it wont trim properly cause it cant spin fast enough
You have to keep tapping the right trim button. Keep tapping it until it stops spinning. If the spinning stops and it just turns, Use the the left right moving analog un til it flies straight.
Issue: Heli spins to the Left (counterclockwise) uncontrollably. Problem: Tail rotor not turning fast enough, Dragging. Background: My son's Heli Cage also started spinning to the left after he had flown it a couple 3 times. The trim and direction stick could not compensate. One time, the tail rotor came off during a crash. It was put back on and ran fine a couple more times until the dreaded left spin. I began to troubleshoot the issue. I checked for damage, hair and whatever else on the shaft. There was no obvious signs. When I pulled the tail rotor off, I noticed that it came off very easily. I put a new one on it and problem solved. Diagnosis: the tail rotor shaft was spinning inside the rotor. This prevented the tail rotor from turning the correct speed. Corrective Measures: replace rotor with new one. Avoid hitting the rotor while it is spinning...good luck! :-)
