Power problem

It may or may not.

Getting an item wet is not as bad as one might assume as long as:

1. you dry it out as fast as possible.
2. you quit running electricity through it
3. no transformers or absorbing electronics get wet

You always should kil the power to any wet electronics to keep them from shorting out. Then take it a part and blow dry everything till nice and parched. As for # 3 it is more of a prayer than anything because some electonice components such as transformers and capacitors can hold water even after drying and will make a nice mess once electricity starts coursing through it.

it realy depends wether you tried to turn it on when it was wet. if you leave it to morning without doing anything the water will stll be in the power button. i would advise you not to turn the power on until you have stripped the cover of and dried the wet area with a hair dryer but dont have the heat on full put the heat on the lowest setting as you may melt some circuits hold it for about 15 mins making sure you are not over heating any other components then hopefully that should be you. hope this is helpfulland i hope i fixes your problem.
