I have found the way to delete songs from my MW3837 MP3 player. I have deleted everything that shows up in the Computer>MP3Player file. There are no files left to delete, yet I still have the songs left on my MP3 I uploaded years ago. I have tried to reset it from the whole in the back, but no success. I hear the click, but doesn't do anything but turn it off. Is there a way to do a factory reset or delete the songs left on it? Please help!! =]
Under windows explorer or my computer, click on the icon for the mp3 player. On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button). You should see songs from both modes.

Under windows explorer, click on the icon for the mp3 player. On the mp3 player, switch between the Usb and Mtp mode (The M button). You should see songs from both modes. Hilite the songs you want to delete and delete them. If you want all songs deleted, on the menu bar, go to edit and select all.
are you sure you deleted all the songs?I suggest you connect to your pc again ,open the folder where your music is and just try deleting one song.now disconnect and see if the song is still there , actually on the player. It's possible you disconnected before the pc had time to delete everything or that you deleted the files from your pc not the player.Did you get the usual message asking you if you're sure you wanted to delete and did it then show you a progress bar?
Plug your mp3 into the computer using your usb cable. Open windows explorer and click on drive "E". it might be different on different computers but a little playig around should find it. Then by trolling through it you should find all the files available on your mp3. Your problem was created by removing it from the computer without using the safety hardware removal. I still have not found a simple method to rectify this problem.
Let it recharge for a few hours - when an mp3 player won't turn off, use the reset button instead of letting the power drain down. Actually, i take it back - this is the worst most godawful manual I have ever seen - this is the first Mp3 player I have ever seen without a reset button.
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard
Connect mp3 player to computer, open Windows Media Player, click on the icon of the mp3 player, and then go to the songs or music folder - find the song you want to delete, left-click the song, and hit "delete" on your keyboard
Use Windows Media Player 9 or 10 - instructions available from microsoft's website and other websites: short version: Connect mp3 player to computer, open Windows Media Player, click on the icon of the mp3 player, and then go to the songs or music folder - find the song you want to delete, left-click the song, and hit "delete" on your keyboard
yes the music can be deleted it's kind of like the syncing process except your deleting ther should be something there to tell that you do want to sync you click on that then go the the songs you want to delete right-click the song and delete
When your GPX MW3837 is plugged into your PC, it will show up as a drive [mine shows GPX(E:)] in Windows Explorer. Click on that drive and you will be able to delete anything from the MP3 player.
