Re: phone set up
This phone is a Merlin Magix system phone. The time is stored in the main control unit, not the telephone. You have different times on different phones??? I do not see how this is possible unless the clock is broken and not updating the phones with the correct time. If that was the case every time you unplug a phone and re-connect it the time may be reset to 12:00 on that phone.
Avaya has all their manuals available on their web site. I'd suggest going to www.avaya.com and searching for "Magix time"

There are several methods. Phone company provided call forwarding instantly sends calls to a phone number you set on your main phone line, that you turn on with *72 + the destination # and turn off with *73. Or "Call Forwarding No Answer" that transfers the call after several rings to a pre-determined number, all setup by the phone company on your main line. Or, on the Panasonic systems (there are many), you do the same using several code choices, a bit more complicated. Your installer must set the system to allow the system to send calls to an outside line, and you must have more than one line because the destination number is dialed on a different line than the line that's receiving the call. Your Panasonic "Operating Manual" lists these codes and methods with instructions, you'll find them listed in the table of contents under "Call Forwarding" with step by step pictured instructions.

All programing functions are controlled on the main (stationary) board. All display functions are controlled on the Rotor (spinning board.) Here are some steps to take if you are having display problems. Remove the three mounting screws that hold the rotor to the motor shaft. The LED display board is attached perpendicular to the rotor board and is soldered to the rotor board. Over time, the connections break due to the centrifugal force of the spinning rotor. CAREFULLY, with a low amp solder iron and a fine tip, re-heat the board to the display. That should solve the problem. If you were a bit sloppy with the solder, remove the solder with a fine wick and try again!
Your phone model number is no help with this problem. You could have this phone on one of several different Comdial phone systems using one of several different voice mail systems. You will need to determine which voice mail you have and locate instructions for that specific unit.
