Router fell down - Computers & Internet

You may consider my sentence from your example. "The horse raced past the barn fell"

The felling axe purpose is to cut across the grain of wood as in the felling of the trees. There are different weights, shapes, handle types and cutting geometries to match the characteristics of the material being cut.

Try resetting the router and unplugging the whole unit wait 30 seconds then power it all up and reopen your wireless finder on your electronic unit. It should find the router by itself...

First check the power supply and where it's plugged into. Power strip breaker? plastic block fell out of outlet?
If you have a meter, check that you're getting 5 volts or more at the end you plug into the router. You could fudge it with a peice of wire and a flashlight bulb. If it lights up bright, at all, then it's putting out juice. If router still no lights, toss it. It's dead.
You'll need a new one.

Check all of the physical connections to the router. Does it power on? do all of the light look normal? Can you connect ot it via ethernet?

Otherwise it sounds like you may have broken your router. Sorry :(

I would advice you to contact netgear support thru email. Its my.netgear.com , they might have some suggestions or troubleshooting steps you can perform on your router.

You may also try resetting your unit and check the lights if they are good.

Sorry, but if your hard disk fell down and now isn't regognized by the computer the most possible situation is that the disk is destroyed.

sorry but you definately need to show it to an expert technicianwho can inspect first for any physical damage.

you could of cracked a solder joint on the mainboard. you probably couldnt see that.
