Question about Heating & Cooling
Portable air conditioner worked fine for a week but then started shutting down with empty tray error every hour Within a 24 hour period I collected 21 liters of water in a container. I emptied the container and over the next 12 hours only collected 2 liters. Emptied the container once more and 6 hours later no water at all. Thought all was well ,but after moving the conditioner it started shutting off within an hour with water tray full. Is there a evaporating system in the Delonghi PAC AN140HPECB that should be removing moisture out the exhaust hose? I've tried their customer care 800 number with no help at all(told to empty tray) and my email to them has gone unanswered.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Is it leaking or shutting off on the overfill?
If it is leaking you have a stopped up drain inside the unit.
