If its a built in motor with your machine, that need a technician to replace it with original motor, go back to your retailer where you purchased that machine.

Machine just stop sewing for no apparent reason.

The circuit breaker on the motor has tripped.
You might be sewing material that is too heavy/thick and it's heating up the motor. It will take awhile to cool and work again. Get a heavier duty machine, this one won't last long using it as you are.

I was sewing a seam machine was working fine after sewing for 5 minutes then the motor stopped.

the motor needs to be checked to see if it went out.
it's not good for a sewing machine to sit up for years. and a cloth cover needs to be used to keep the dust off the machine.

Machine stop moving . i opened the plastic cover and visually everything is OK.The motor is working when untighted, but stop moving when the tensioner is tightened. Plese, help !!!

Something in the drivetrain is seized. My first step would be to release the clutch knob (as if you threading a bobbin) and see if the motor will turn. If the motor turns with the drivetrain disengaged, it will be necessary to isolate the seized portion of the machine. You can either obtain a service manual and go through all the operations that are engaged by the drive train, or take it to a qualified service technician.

Make sure the stop motion wheel is tight, make sure you do not have any thread stuck in the raceway area if you get a buzzing sound from the motor

Sewing machine motor will not run after attempting

Overload Viking:
The machine has a built in overload protector, if your needle can’t penetrate, it may stop the machine from working for a few minutes. Just wait it will reset automatically. Then, try a Sharp needle (denim needle is ideal) and be sure to Never Never reverse sew on heavy fabric, your needle will bend and hit the needle plate, use the FIX button for knotting (it really does work).

Brother XV 1200

If it has an internal motor which you cannot see it sounds very much like the belt has broken or come off. The whirring sound is probably the motor which still runs when you apply power
