You can't connect antenna directly to home receiver. You need to use controlbox/receiver from antenna complectation.

There are many possible reasons of this problem. Maybe antenna didn't see satellite, maybe satellite setup is wrong (frequency, bitrate and so on). The best way to solve your problem is to get logfile from antenna.

How to program kvh tracvision a5 antenna to work
NEWER connect A7 reciver box to A5 dome. A5 receiver box output voltage is 32VDC, and A7 receiver box output voltage is 40VDC. So, if you connect A5 dome to A7 reciver box, you will damage it.
